Breathe & Relax

We love Paws & Relax! The property is extremely well managed and is always super clean and ready for us. Only clothes and food are needed. The owner adds extra touches like the best sweet treats ever, and our fur babies are also pampered with their own special treats as well. We have become frequent visitors and look forward to this calm space each year. The beach is quiet and clean, and we have never experienced any issues. An owner managed shade canopy awaits our visit to the beach so we don't even have to worry about setting it up or taking it down. Too easy! The owner thinks of everything and makes sure to provide a perfect home away from home.

Perfect Coastal Getaway for Families and Pups! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We recently stayed at Paws & Relax and cannot recommend this beautiful property enough! The location on the Fort Morgan peninsula is absolutely perfect—situated on a narrow stretch of land that gives you gorgeous front-row views of the Gulf of Mexico just a short walk out front, while still letting you catch stunning sunset glimpses over Mobile Bay from the back deck. The house itself is incredibly comfortable, pristine, and fully equipped with everything you need for a relaxing coastal vacation. It is a true haven for dog owners. Unlike the crowded commercial strips closer to Gulf Shores, the beaches right outside the door are peaceful, uncrowded, and entirely dog-friendly, which our pup absolutely loved! We also loved being just a 3-minute drive from local gems like Fort Morgan Pizza and the marina. A special thank you to the owner, Michelle, who is an absolute dream to work with. She was incredibly accommodating, communicative, and helpful from start to finish. When severe tropical weather unexpectedly threatened the coast at the end of our trip, Michelle went above and beyond to ensure our safety and provided seamless support. If you are looking for a relaxing, high-quality, and pup-approved beach vacation away from the heavy tourist traffic, this is the place to book. We will definitely be back!

Another amazing stay!

Our group of five, with two dogs, spent a week at Paws & Relax. This is the most well-appointed rental we have ever stayed at. The kitchen amenities were appreciated by everyone. We had everything we needed to cook whatever kind of meals we liked. As always, the house was spotless. The beds were super comfortable, and we enjoyed the new living room furniture. Everyone enjoyed their stay.

Beautiful home - great location

Wonderful home nestled in perfect spot. Located just steps from quiet beach, you could see the beautiful sunsets from beach or front porch. House was clean and well kept and we loved all of the “extra touches” for us and our pup. Great communication and Michelle was a pleasure to rent from. We will definitely return.

Great experience, would highly recommend

We had a great experience staying here for a week long family vacation. The house is very well equipped with everything you could need and more for families and dogs alike! Comfortable beds and living room furniture. Beach carts, hose and outdoor shower really came in handy. Michelle was very kind and responsive when needed. Would recommend and stay again.

We love staying at Paws and Relax and so does our fur baby. The location is awesome and super close to the beach. The hosts have thought of everything and there is anything you could need for your stay. We love the outside shower and the porch. The canopy provided on the beach is the icing on the cake! You will not be disappointed in your stay.

Just perfect for our family

This home was the perfect size for my family of 3 + our pup. Yes, there were extra beds but the layout, fully stocked kitchen, linens, towels, beach toys and chairs made this trip so much easier than if we would have had to bring everything ourselves! It was really a great trip for all of us and the pet friendly beach was a plus for our pup too! Looking forward to planning our next trip!

Wonderful getaway!

We had a wonderful 5 days for our daughters senior spring break ! Best part her best friend didn’t have to stay at home ❤️ The home was well stocked and everything was very accommodating! Wonderful Beach House

This is a beautiful house that has everything you could need. You could literally just show up with a suitcase. We had most of our family and dogs with us and we had plenty of indoor and outdoor space so as not to feel cramped. It is a very short walk to the beach also. I would highly recommended this property!

Inside and Out-Everything you need!

The beach house is perfect, you really can hear the waves and see the beach to the left, the bay to the right and watch the sunset every night on the front porch with the family & dog! Could not have asked for a better property, location or accommodations to reset and have a little fun! Inside and Out we had everything we needed.

An absolute gem of Ft Morgan!

The host has this home stocked with things you did not even know that you and your furry friend needed for an awesome beach trip! An easy walk straight to the beach with a tent for shade all prepared for you. You will not be disappointed. Lord willing we hope to visit again soon.

Quick Family Get Away with Doggos

Wonderful stay - Paws & Relax exactly as advertised !! Very Communicative / Engaging owner who made sure everything was perfect. Beach Accessories that are with the house meant we didnt have to bring anything with us -- big plus !! We felt very welcome from the moment we reserved all the way through our departure. ABSOLUTELY recommend !!

Beautiful cottage with all the amenities you’ll need.

First time at Gulf Shores and the cottage Paws and Relax lived up to its name. We celebrated my retirement and it was a blast. There were five adults, 1 infant and 2 dogs and our host was very accommodating to our needs. We loved the cottage and having access to a cart to easily haul stuff to the beach were there was a huge covered area for us. My family wanted to stay longer since it was so nice and the weather was perfect! Thank you Michelle for making my retirement vacation a memorable one! We will try to make it back again. Highly recommend for families with dogs.

Vacation Christmas get together

The property is better than advertised. Everything is just like the pictures. We had adequate room for eight in the beds. The walk to the beach was barely four houses away. We enjoyed ourselves completely. The welcome gift bag was very considerate and appreciated. Very dog friendly We would recommend and rent again

Amazing house with all the bells and whistles!

Pause and relax offered so many amenities and special touches! Our dogs absolutely loved it as well. Everything was so modern and upgraded, including the outdoor lighting and patio! The walk to the beach was easy and the morning coffee on the balcony was cool and breezy. I truly appreciated the comfortable beds and having two master suites. We simply could not have asked for more from this stay! We will definitely be back

Amazing Time

Our family had a wonderful vacation staying at Michelle’s place. Everything was beautiful, clean, kitchen had everything you could possibly need. It was just right for our family. We loved that we could bring our very well behaved dog with us. He wasn’t quite sure that he loved the ocean water though. 😊 Michelle was just a text message away and was very responsive with any questions we had. Highly recommend staying here is you are planning a trip to Ft Morgan.
