Cedar Cabin stay

This place was just perfect for my husband & I. We were visiting our children & granddaughters who live in Hallsville. It was only a mile away from their home. Property was private, well groomed & peaceful. The cabin was so clean & comfortable. The stairs were a little challenge at first but we got used to them & it gave us some exercise. So quiet @ night. We would sit on the deck for coffee in the morning. We definitely will return to this place when the opportunity arises. No more hotels for us in Longview area, we loved the cabin. The host Cheryl went above & beyond to back sure our stay was comfortable!! thanks Cheryl

Weekend getaway special bonus eclipse

Country Getaway

Perfect spot to get away from the city for a bit. Has everything you need, but not too far from town if you need anything. I had some trouble with the keypad (this was probably user error!), but quickly rectified. Communication beforehand was great, and I was so glad to be able to bring my dogs.

Such a beautiful place!

We were so pleased staying here we extended once and tried to extend again, but there was another booking already. The host was super easy to communicate with, and very responsive and accommodating. Our daughter lives close by so we will definitely be staying here again on our next visit.

Our family has owned this property for over 100 years, We do not allow hunting as we keep the property as close to nature as possible. 60 Private acres surrounds you here with total privacy. We are a very busy couple and come an go often. Occassionally we have grandkids here which we love. We have 3 dogs that love people. Our Big dog "Gavel" will hang out with you out side and show you around the property.

What makes this property unique

If you seek calm and quiet. Here it is. Walk the trails, see the deer. No hunting is allowed here, so the deer are everywhere. We have 2 herds that stay real close, you will see them everyday. If you like to fish, we have a catch and release policy, but you will catch plenty of catfish.
