Large 1,688 square foot Swiss chalet style home in North Lake Tahoe. Located in serene Tyrolian Village, with an unobstructed view of Diamond Peak ski resort and Tahoe National Forest. Surrounded by mountains and a forested greenbelt, footsteps away from hiking and biking trails. This townhome features an open great room with wood-burning stone fireplace and a fully stocked kitchen with a large center island. Everyone in the room can enjoy the high speed wifi and large flat screen TV. There are 2 large decks to BBQ, or just relax and watch the sunrise and moonrise. 3 private bedrooms are located downstairs. A mudroom with level entry is on the ground floor, along with full size washer and dryer. Per local regulations, max occupancy is 4 persons and 1 overnight car.

Winter Activities: Family-friendly Diamond Peak Ski Area is a 2-minute drive. We are also close to Mt. Rose Ski Area, Heavenly, Northstar and Squaw Valley resorts. Cross country ski trails and fun sledding can be found at nearby Tahoe Meadows or Spooner Lake. A 4-wheel drive vehicle is recommended in the winter.

Summer activities: Incline Creek trail is a short walk away and is fantastic for hiking and mountain biking. It is a 5-mile path that extends from Mt. Rose thru Diamond Peak...The Tahoe East Shore Trail (formerly the Incline to Sand Harbor Bike Path) is a spectacular three-mile paved path that provides a new opportunity for the community to experience the natural beauty of the eastern shore of Tahoe. With a 10-foot wide path, it meets the American Disability Act standards to ensure it is accessible to everyone to ride, walk or stroll. The new path begins at the intersection of Lakeshore Drive and Highway 28 (3 miles away), expanding the current Lakeshore bike path for three more miles down to the Sand Harbor State Park. Along the way it provides access to Hidden Beach, Memorial Point and various other scenic vistas. It is a major component of the Tahoe Trail that will one day go all the way around the Lake... The renowned Flume Trail, the Tahoe Rim Trail, and a myriad of hiking and biking trails are also in close proximity...Lovely sandy beaches are nearby with Sand Harbor and Kings Beach a short drive away. The highly acclaimed Tahoe Shakespeare Festival is located at Sand Harbor, five minutes away...Top-notch golf can be found at two Incline Village courses, the Championship and Mountain Courses...There is also a community tennis court that you can walk to, no fee required.

Shopping and antiquing are available in town (less than 3 miles away), in nearby Truckee, or a short drive around the lake. Nightlife and casino found at Incline's Hyatt Resort (2.4 miles away), or at nearby Stateline casinos. We invite you to share this experience!

Holiday Retreat to the Mountains

We stayed over the Fourth of July weekend and the rental was big enough to flex and fit my family as they arrived from out of town. It has a nice big kitchen island and dining table that could accommodate our crowd.It's located with pretty views of the mountains with a nice trail along a stream within walking distance.It was very quiet and tucked away with no one on the end. If you are coming to enjoy the beach you will need to bring your own beach towels and chairs. We also enjoyed the performance at the Shakespeare Theater under the stars on Sand Harbor but book ahead!

Magical Two Months

We had the best time staying at this magical home this winter. The house set-up was so ideal: both practical and beautiful! We loved having a fire upstairs, while cooking and gazing at the mountain (either watching it wake up at sunrise as the ski lifts opened or after a long day on the slopes, being so grateful to have a home right there at diamond peak!). The gorgeous kitchen, handmade dining table, social countertop space, quaint desk room, and ample pantry were lovely for a long stay. The 3 bedrooms downstairs were so comfortable, spacious, and allowed privacy and peace and quiet. Having a balcony off of the adult bedrooms is awesome! And having 4 beds in the kids’ room was wonderful. My son and daughter felt incredible to choose which bunk they felt like on any given night, rather than squabbling over who got the top or bottom when only 2 beds are offered. We had a ball and miss the home already. The owner was so communicative and helpful whenever we needed a thing. He takes such good care of this home and cares about the experience of his guests. We can’t wait to return to this wonderful mountain home. What a gem!!!

Great property!

Excellent property! Spacious and clean with a large and well stocked kitchen. The entire upstairs space was wonderful for preparing meals, eating, watching movies, and playing games. The bedrooms were a comfortable place to sleep after long days of playing at the lake! Carlo was easy to communicate with. Would definitely rent this place again.

Great location

Very nice relaxing place with a great view. The reason I docked a star was because the ice situation didn’t seemed properly managed and unsafe. A ~100lbs ice block fell on the walking path about 5 seconds after I had walked under it. Also it was very slippery bc of the ice and we had to buy our own salt to make it safer. Other than that the place was clean and you can walk to the ski hill if you didn’t want to deal with parking. Very charming neighborhood.

Convenient location for Diamond Peak Ski Resort

We had a great weekend getaway here. Condo was super clean, very spacious, well equipped, and exactly as advertised. Ski lifts and slopes are right across, visible from both floors of the condo. You need to use the car to the the equipment down, but if the parking lot is full, one can drive back and walk down in 5-10 minutes. Super convenient. We will surely rent it in any future stays at Diamon Peak.

Newly Remodeled Condo in Prime Location

This is a newly remodeled condo. Very comfortable. The big screen TV with Netflix/Amazon Video etc. available is just amazing. Right next to the Diamond Peak ski resort. We had a wonderful stay.

We have been renting in the Tahoe basin since the late 70s and so have stayed at some great and not so great places. This home features a very nice kitchen and open 2nd floor. However, the owners have locked so many closets that we had none for the master bedroom to hang up clothes. Staying 2 weeks was not easy here

Carlo was very responsive and has put together a very clean, updated Tyrolean Village condo with a well stocked kitchen (even has food storage containers for leftovers). Ski hill is your view out great room upstairs and master bedroom downstairs, both of which have decks. Large gas bbq on deck. Separate upstairs (living area) and downstairs (sleeping area) furnace/thermostats makes it easy to be cozy while keeping sleep areas cooler if you want. Big modern washer dryer pair with detergent provided. Cute neighborhood just above the ski mountain base.

The perfect getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at Carlo's apartment. The house is nested in a quiet little village above the Diamond Peak resort making it so easy to get to the slopes but also perfectly secluded with beautiful views of the mountain. The property was larger than what we expected, very comfortable with a cozy fireplace for relaxing evenings and all the necessary amenities to cook and enjoy meals with friends. We had a 2yo toddler with us and the apartment was ideal for kids! Carlo was very kind and easy to communicate with. We cannot wait to come back.

Property was nice and just as described. The designated spot to park in was being used by someone else, so we parked in the spot right behind that car. Woke up to a big sticker on the car window saying we were in violation and at risk of towing. Maybe the unit number should be displayed at the spot. Bring extra toilet paper if there are more than a few people. Great location to Diamond Peak Ski Resort!!

Family Vacation

Great location! House was very nice and clean. We had a wonderful stay. Only down side is the parking spot that comes with the property is were the snow plows all the snow so you have to park up the hill.
