Great local flavor

Really appreciated the attention to detail to the local neighborhood. Cozy for just two of us and easy access to main square or plaza. Enjoyed the shopping, history tour by local historian, Ana, and hiking nearby. Everything was there in the casita except shampoo that I needed and couldn’t find. Used the patio a lot.

Ten day vacation sit to Santa Fe

What a lovely casita. It was beautifully appointed with everything necessary: towels, sheets, bathroom supplies, kitchen supplies. The patio was a lovely addition to the kitchen, living room, and bedroom. Location is wonderful. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Santa Fe.

Wonderul Casita in Sante Fe close to down town

Loved the property and loved the location (within walking distance of plaza and farmer's market, close to restaurants). Beautifully furnished, and stocked with everything one might need. The only negative was the lack of air conditioning and it was very warm the 1st night we were there, however, I would love to come back in the winter when the heaters could be put to use.

Beautiful place! Bigger than anticipated which was a nice surprise, loved all the decor as it made us feel even more immersed in the beautiful culture of Santa Fe. Plenty of kitchen goods and supplies. Plenty of linens. Loved the private courtyard. Enjoyed time in the communal hot tub. Felt safe and secure. As listed, no AC. Two large fans available to help keep the place cool. Communication was good for the most part- we did have to reach out for the check in instructions as we didn’t hear from them yet and it was day of for check in, but she responded quickly with the whole manual and ensured we received them. Highly recommend! Walking distance to many places. Clean. Lovely!

Beautiful casita near downtown!

We couldn't have been more impressed with the house and the host!! Diane couldn't have been more helpful. Lovely decorated home with all the amenities needed for your stay. Located on a dead end street so very little traffic and so peaceful at night!! We loved the private outside porch the most. Great for morning coffee/breakfast as well as eating dinner out there!! With such beautiful weather, we spend most of our time out there when we were at the house!! We highly recommend this place for your next stay in Santa Fe!! You will not be disappointed!!

What a wonderful casita! It was larger than I expected and had every amenity we needed. We walked to nearly every meal and it was easy to jump on the highway to see sites like Bandelier National Park. The decor was nicely curated and there was plenty of information for site seeing. If we had cooked a main meal, all the condiments were there for us. Really cozy and a great place to return to after a day of hiking and shopping. Having parking on the property was a plus. We will definitely stay again!

This Casita was about a 15 minute walk to all the restaurants and shopping surrounding the Santa Fe Plaza. We enjoyed our walks and not having to fight for parking since our vehicle stayed at the Casita. The Casita was a quiet stay. It was a little warmer but with the higher temps that was to be expected. At night we put the fans in front the windows to catch some of that cooler air at night. The private patio was amazing, and allowed us to have our coffee in the morning an enjoy the mountain air. What we really enjoyed was the fact that we could shop and then come back and drop off our new purchases and then go back to downtown to continue shopping or grab food and drinks. My hubby has a Toyota Tacoma and it fit perfect down the narrow parking. A larger SUV or truck may have a bit of struggle navigating this space. Check in and check out was easy, the wifi worked well for us. Perfect place for a couple wanting quick access to downtown via a stroll, but want more quiet privacy. Cute space and we really enjoyed our mini vacation!

About the host

Hosted by Diane Robertson

Host profile image
I'm a New York native living in Los Angeles. Santa Fe is one of my favorite cities. I love being a VRBO host and take pride in my casita. I want guests to feel at home and treat it like their home away from home whether staying for 2 nights or 2 weeks. One of my joys is reading notes that guests leave in the guest notebook that is kept in the living. If you book a stay, please don't forget to share thoughts about your visit before you check out.

Why they chose this property

I love that this is an historic neighborhood and it could not be more centrally located. It is quiet and charming and within walking distance of the Plaza (Lensic Performing Arts Center, Galleries, Museums, Restaurants, Shopping), the Railyard District (Galleries, Shopping, Violet Crown Movie Theatre, Farmer's Market, Artisan's Market, and more). Canyon Road is just a slightly longer walk for those who are up to it.

What makes this property unique

The private walled courtyard with string lighting and a painted mural of colorful flowers on the walls is a lovely place to have coffee in the morning or a meal in the afternoon or evening. The casita is nicely furnished and well maintained, demonstrating true pride of ownership.
