The property is exactly as shown the the picture, which we considered awesome. Very walkable to all parts of Santa Fe. Considering a return to the area next year and if so we would choose this property again.

There are no photos with funky lenses in our shots of Circa 1885! It is all real and we would be delighted to have you come again. Thank you for staying with us!
Every aspect of our one week stay was exceptional! Location was fantastic as was the unit which was perfect for us (retired). It is well equipped & beautifully appointed and very quick response from owners when we had ??? And the bed was extremely comfortable! We vacation to eat out and we checked off most of eateries on our list. It’s a GEM and the owners are very quick to respond via msg or in person to help us! Love the history too so it was a great experience all around!!
Perfect spot for an extended stayI stayed here solo for a week while taking a class and it was the ideal setup. The location is unbeatable — walkable to the Plaza, Railyard District, and Canyon Road. The home is full of character with all the comforts you need for a longer stay, including a well-equipped kitchen and a cozy fireplace to unwind in the evenings after a long day. Clean, comfortable, and a great host. I’ll be back soon!

After a an hour drive from the airport when we arrived at our Vrbo, there was a cute welcome book with wine, crackers, and cheese welcoming us. This place was exactly what we wanted. The host was very communicative and the location was close to coffee shops, a bakery, and restaraunts.

2nd time staying here and loved it again. They have though of everything and have decorated an old Adobe with comfortable, whimsical modern. Perfect location for walking to the tire, railyard area, the plaza, state capital and up to Canyon Road and it’s galleries. So much easier than finding parking. Highly recommend.

Circa 1885 is well appointed. Photos are not taken with a wide angled lens, square footage is accurate, location is in easy walking distance of important sites, bed, bedding and shower are luxurious. Thanks for staying at Circa.
What a wonderful casita! The owners have thought of everything, and were so easy to communicate with. The home is spotless, quiet but centrally located, beautiful furnishings and just a lovely home away from home. Thank you so much for such a perfect getaway!

We are delighted that you found Circa 1885 the perfect getaway! We hope you will come again. I'll let our cleaners know that Circa earned the "spotless" comment, it will mean a lot to them! Thank you for being such a gracious guest!
The host was welcoming, the space was beautiful, and the location was great. Unfortunately, when we arrived on a cold night, the room was in the 40s (so cold!) and it took hours to warm up. Also, the gate and front door were very difficult to open. Other than that, the stay was very good.

Thank you for staying in Circa. We are glad that most of your experience was good. Thank you for letting us know that your arrival was chilly. We have safeguards against this which clearly need more work. I hope you used the fireplace!

We are glad you found Circa 1885 to be beautiful. It was an inspiring space, with the high sealings and sculptural adobe walls, to work on and decorate. And the location is great. We'd love to have you stay with us another time.

Location is great and home is lovely and clean. Upon arrival there was wine, cheese, crackers and beer. Very nice touch for those traveling. Rental provides shampoo, conditioner and soap. Kitchen has coffee, milk, tea, spices, and oil. Nice to not have to buy these things if you are only staying a few days. Will return on our next visit to Santa Fe.
