Anniversary weekend spent in a cozy cabin with a hot tub. Couldn’t have been better. Property was nice & well maintained. A little bit of road noise but mostly quiet. Adorable coffee shop a handful of miles away.
Line cabin was exactly what we wanted and more! Beautiful location, clean cabin, kitchen provided just what we needed to make our meals, grill, fire pit and hot tub were all excellent!! Definitely recommend this cabin!
I highly recommend to take your spouse and run away for a romantic weekend to this cute cabin! The wood stove in the master BR is lovely, the hot tub views were so beautiful, and the WiFi worked well. It was very cold, but the river was gorgeous to look at! Also, it’s a quick drive to the lovely town of Luray. It was just wonderful and I can’t wait to go back.We are thinking of renting 2 for a family trip with children so it could be a family trip. We might get 2 and rent kayaks, fish, grill, etc, Either way, we will be back!
Cabin was very clean and everything was in working condition. It was nice to get away from everything and having no service was a bonus. Hot tub was a treat after a long day of hiking. Would definitely stay again!
Cabin was clean and in a great location. River was a walk across the yard and could be viewed from cabin. Loved the fire pit area with the picnic table. Great weekend to spend quality time with friends and no Wi-Fi to get in the way!!
My boyfriend and I had a great time! The cabin and property were beautiful. The hot tub was perfect after a cold day of hiking. We will definitely be back!
My fiancé and I really enjoyed ourselves. Location is suuuuper far out from civilization so you have to make sure you have everything prior to arriving, but overall an amazing experience!
Great location. The manager helped usbwith our booking to ensure we were staying in the property closest tonour activities. Hot tib was heated and ready to go. River access is prime.
My partner and I without our 2 young boys (1 and 5) had a wonderful time at the cabin. The host was responsive and helpful. The area was perfect with open space, open river seating, fire pit, grill, and hot tub.
Spent two nights here for our anniversary. It was a great time! Spent the evening relaxing and enjoying the lack of signal and Wifi. The hot tub and views were worth it. Plenty of activities to do nearby.
A great place in a great location, just steps away from the Shenandoah river, with a mountain in the backdrop. It's perfect for summer time, but was also fun using the hot tub in 25 degree weather this past weekend. You have to bring your own bed linens. As long as you remember to do so this place is perfect.
My family (including our almost 2 year old golden) and I loved staying at the Sinker cabin for 2 nights between Christmas and New Years! The yard was great to let our dog get some energy out, beautiful views of the river, and while we didn't use the firepit- we saw the potential for awesome bonfires at night! The cabin was clean, very well kept up, and had all the necessities! Would definitely recommend to others.
The place was clean (except for some dried cheerios next to the bed upstairs), practical and comfortable as a place to hang out, relax and eat after a day of hiking in the area. The bed on the top floor is problematic for tall people as feet touch the sloped ceiling but fine for others. It was great to have access to a picnic table and hot tub, and a sense of privacy from the cabin. The view onto the lawn and river was peaceful.
The cabin had plenty to like and a couple things that could have been better. It was clean, cozy, and well equipped. We got it because it was close to the river and had a hot tub. It also had good WiFi which was nice. Our two big complaints are the water and the lack of linens. We camp and frequently sleep outside. We don’t need fancy and weren’t expecting a 5 star hotel. But for nearly $300 a night, having to bring our own sheets is frustrating. Also, the water smelled and tasted horrible! It has the rotten egg smell that happens with some wells. For the price that is being charged, I would have expected there to be a water system. Or at least a Brita pitcher! We still enjoyed our weekend but those two things weren’t great.
The cabin was really cute and the perfect vacation for my family! My kids, me and my husband loved sitting in the hot tub at night and looking at the stars in the sky! I appreciated that we had no Wi-Fi because we were able to enjoy more quality time with the kids. One thing that bothered me a bit was the trash. We brought the trash out to throw it away, and after driving for a while, we couldn't find the dumpster. The dumpster ended up being a 10 mile drive in total which seemed a bit long for trash.
I really hate leaving reviews like this, but I think its way too pricey for what you get. The cabin itself is nice, but it wasnt very clean. There was a lot of dust, and we had to rewash all of the dishes before we used them because they were all dirty. A couple of lights didnt work, and you cant keep the bedroom ceiling fan turned on because it shakes so bad that the pull string just dings loudly against the lights, and the one in the living room area didn't turn on at all. The bathroom was spacious, but the shower is tiny and water barely comes out of the shower head. There's also no wifi and cell service is hit or miss. The outdoor area was nice though. The hot tub was great and theres a big yard and river at the end.
This was a perfect weekend getaway for us. The cabins are very accessible and have a nice view of shannondoah river and mountains.
The place was clean and can accommodate 4-5 people.
The host is super responsive and will help you with any of your queries.
The most lovely get away. The creek and river added to the serene environment which was a blessing. The hot tub was perfect after our 8 mile hike and really added to the whole experience. Will definitely be back!
This cabin gave us a destination for our first real family vacation. It was cute and cozy. Coming from Florida we froze most of the time up here but the cabin definitely suited our needs and kept us warm.
