Rippling River Cabin: Nature's Paradise On The Shenandoah River
This beautiful cabin is calling all nature lovers. Sitting on the bank of the Shenandoah River, you will enjoy hearing the sound of the majestic water roll by throughout the day and evening as you partake in various outdoor activities or simply relax and take in the scenery from the large back deck of the cabin. The cabin is nicely appointed with updates to the kitchen and both bathrooms. Two rooms have queen beds and one bedroom has two full size beds. The large, open family room with river rock stone fireplace (gas) makes for a warm and enjoyable entertainment setting. There is an outdoor pit by the river for cozy "campfires" -- and an outdoor gas grill for cooking.
The cabin has been well equipped with all the household necessities -- you just need to remember to pack your own bedroom linens and towels to use because linens are NOT provided. (2 Queen and 2 Full). There is a washer/dryer at the cabin.
The town of Luray is less than five miles from the cabin. Luray offers shopping, dining, and entertainment options for the entire family. Luray Caverns is one of the largest and most popular attractions in the Eastern United States -- and, of course, it is hard to beat the Shenandoah Skyline Drive in the Fall. There are a number of local outdoor companies that provide kayak, canoeing, tubing, horseback riding, and many other options. Two ski resorts are within one hour of the cabin.
The cabin really is a little oasis away from the hustle-and-bustle of modern life. We hope you might consider visiting us -- and we guarantee you will find something you will enjoy!

Perfect getaway for my family! The view if the river, the deck, the quiet area. Everything was perfect! We will definitely be going back! When we arrived and saw the flag hanging, it was even more perfect for the weekend before the 4th of July. My kids swam in the river and we relaxed and enjoyed everything. Plenty of games and puzzles.
Great peaceful cabin on the river! They also had two tubes and a canoe, which were unexpected perks! We used the tubes, tied with a rope to relax. I’ve had a really stressful year and this was a really welcome chance to get away with family and unplug. The kids had a blast. Of note - internet is there, but it’s so out in the country it’s hard to sustain a zoom meeting. So don’t go here thinking you can telework with virtual meetings.
We absolutely love this property. We try to stay there once or twice a year just to get some time away from busy life and enjoy the fire pit down by the river. The ownership always makes it an easy experience. It’s a very comforting home.We left a little extra firewood, stacked up by the driveway for the next visitors.Appreciate you letting us stay as always!
Beautiful home, quiet location with the Shenandoah River access. Secluded, but close to all shopping and restaurants, as well as Skyline Drive and Luray Caverns!
The views from the property were lovely. There were plenty of activities on property for fun and relaxation. The layout was perfect for our family and we appreciate the ability to have our two dogs with us as well. The location was near beautiful hiking trails as well as Luray Caverns. It was also close to a grocery store which made it convenient to buy what was needed for cooking delicious family meals.
Cabin was clean, private, had good river access, and lots of places outside to sit upstairs and downstairs. Very near grocery store/restaurants/activities (we went to Rescue Zoo & Luray Caverns.
A great stay! Was sad that the jet tub wasn’t working! But other than that… would love to come back in the summer and experience the river!!My daughter and family had a great time!Thank you so much!Sharon Skinner
