It’s truly the perfect spot on Lake Tapps to relax, swim, SUP, kayak, bbq, hot tub, convenient to everything, and our favorite place with perfect hosts!!!!

We loved our stay here! It was very clean. Jen was excellent with communication. Fabulous view of Mount Rainier from the dock. Kids loved playing in kayaks and using all of the water toys and games. Highly recommend for family of 5! Teens loved it here also! Thank you Jen for sharing your home!

It’s truly our favorite lake Tapps house for so many reasons! No steps, cozy, soft carpet and grass, clean, private, non intrusive excellent helpful hosts, quiet, best rainier view, best toys, we really want to keep it to ourselves and visit all the time!

With direct access to the lake right out our front sliding glass door, we also had access to everything one would need to enjoy the lake. Everything outside and inside was perfect.

Great place to explore from or just chill

The host was great; the property was even better than advertised. We used it as a base to explore Seattle and Mount Rainier National Park. We also took a day to just enjoy Lake Tapps. We would stay there again in a heartbeat! Can't recommend enough!

Disliked: Communication
The property itself is beautiful, with real potential for a memorable family stay. That said, communication from the host made the visit more stressful than relaxing. We were upfront before booking that family in the area would be stopping by, and were still followed up with several messages about guest and car counts during our stay, even though there was ample parking (we had three cars total, with plenty of room to spare). Our visiting family came for a few hours at a time and spent most of that time out on the lake, so the property saw very little extra activity. We understand hosts need to manage their properties, but the frequency of check-ins made it hard to relax, especially at this price point. A beautiful home, but not the easygoing getaway we were hoping for.

Awesome!

We had an amazing time! Great location. Super clean house. Awesome communication and flexibility. Wish we had booked (and could have) stayed longer. The kids had a blast using the kayaks, paddleboard and water toys. Would love to be welcomed back!

Memorable time on Lake Tapps

Jen's place on Lake Tapps is wonderful. We loved kayaking and paddle boarding on the lake and relaxed on the dock while admiring the views of Mount Rainier. I would definitely recommend Jen's place to friends.

Nice place right on Lake Tapps

The house was great. It was clean, accessible, loaded with all the pans/utensils/plates/cups/etc you might need. There was a hot tub, kayaks, grill… the list keeps going. The hostess was also amazing at communicating- before/during/after. This is a gem of a place and would love to stay here again if the chance arises.

Beautiful location on the water

Hosts were great. House/appt worked well for me, my daughter and her friend. Right on the water with great views of Mt Rainer from the yard/water, nice swimming area and great kayaks and toys.

Summer Vacation

We took a summer vacation back home to Washington. This property was picture perfect. The home was beautiful, comfortable and made you feel right at home. The lake view is gorgeous and the views of Mount Rainer are beyond stunning. The mountain is so close and clear that it almost looks fake- just stunning. Perfect property for a family getaway.

Easy and relaxing stay

Perfect for a catch up. House is lovely, clean and spacious. Kitchen well stocked. Explored the lake on the two kayaks. Hot tub was clean and a good size. The mountain cooperated and peaked out from the clouds in the early evening. Jen gave us privacy but let us know she was there if needed. Definitely recommend.

Perfect Getaway

My family had a wonderful experience staying at this property. It has a beautiful lakefront setting and was a perfect base to explore both Seattle and Tacoma. The home was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Jen was responsive and flexible as a host. We enjoyed soaking in the hot tub while enjoying the serene lake view. We want to come back in the summer so we can use the kayaks!
