We had a wonderful stay! The property was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was friendly, responsive, and made the whole experience easy from start to finish. The location was great, and we really enjoyed our time here. While there are a lot of upgrades that need to be done, I would definitely stay again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway!

We were so impressed with the owners fast responses to every question. Within minutes of messaging them, I had my answer! Thank you both for a wonderful place and a fantastic vacation - and a very short walk to the beach!

We had a wonderful time during our stay. The house was close to the beach, which was beautiful and not very crowded. It was also close to “downtown” Duck. There was ample room for 4 adults and 2 children, although the bedrooms were small. The condition of the house was somewhat disappointing, however. The appliances were not in very good condition, although they all worked. The home was generally well-kept, clean, and comfortable, but a few areas showed a buildup of grime that a standard turnover clean missed. In the end though, it was an enjoyable stay.

The Cozy Duck is a very charming place! There was enough space for us as a family of six with a dog. We absolutely loved the location, just 3 minutes down the road to get to the beach and Duck is also in easy walking distance. We had a great time!

Great OBX Weekend

The property was great super clean and great for a larger group (we had 6 people). Location is perfect right next to the beach and minutes from Duck shops. Definitely recommend.

This house was a reasonably close walk to the beach, but also very secluded and woodsy. The layout of the rooms was excellent for two couples, allowing a little privacy for each. AC worked very nicely. The living room furniture definitely needs replaced. The queen bed was a bit too firm. Bath mats were not supplied.

The Cozy Duck is a quaint little cottage in the most perfect location! So close to the beach and town. It was perfect for our family of 4 and could accommodate even more. This was our first visit to Duck and we would definitely return!!

Cozy & Convenient

The Cozy Duck was a great place for our family for our twin teens' milestone birthdays/Mother's Day weekend. The location was GREAT for beach, shopping and dining. We would definitely stay again and recommend the cottage to other families.

The Cozy Duck

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Cozy Duck. It was very clean and comfortable, and has one of the best stocked kitchens of any beach house I’ve stayed at. Susan is a wonderful host and was very accommodating. We’ll definitely plan to return!
