The Josi Whales house was an excellent choice for our family. It had extras that we usually have to pack, like beach chairs (10), a beach cart that made our trips to the beach so much easier than our wagon, and corn hole boards. There was a grill, and a good amount of comfortable chairs for the evenings sitting around the tiki bar that everyone loved. With the linens included that left extra room in our car to take other things. Whenever we had questions or concerns, the owner answered quickly and took care of us right away. We would definitely stay here again.

Family vacation

The house was very clean and the most well stocked home I’ve ever stayed in! The pool was steps away and the beach a very short walk. The hosts were great. I have nothing bad to say and would highly recommend!

Beautiful beach house! The location was perfect and we enjoyed every moment. The house was clean, well stocked, and very comfortable. The elevator was perfect for those who struggled with the stairs. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows for those who needed more than one. We are already planning on coming back next year.

Family Vacation

This property was wonderful! Very clean and it had everything you could possibly need on vacation. Kitchen was a cook's dream...lots of pots/pans/utensils. Location was great including beach access. We loved everything about our vacation home...can't wait to rent again!

Summertime beach trip!

Great weather, beautiful beach house, very glad grands. Well equipped, lovely decor, pretty landscaping, cute little pool and accommodating owners. Only drawback is the road crossing and nearby construction at beach access.

This "property" was like being at home. Everything we needed was provided and there was a comfort that is often not there in rentals. Jodi was quickly responsive with the tiny issues that came up. We also loved the area and the location of the home. We are already thinking about next year.

Family Vacation

We loved our stay in your house! It was so well stocked, especially for those small things you always forget! Having a view of the ocean was so nice for us “older” folks that didn’t make the short walk to the beach every day. We will definitely try to book again for our next family vacation.

Outstanding stay

Communication with the owners was excellent! We so appreciated their concern about our concerns and needs. The cottage was well maintained. We really enjoyed grilling out and watching the sun come up on the front deck and the beautiful sunsets on the back deck.

Perfect Beach House

Josi Whales was the perfect beach house for our family of 6 adults and two babies. The house had everything you could need for a trip to Topsail. Very clean and immaculately kept. We loved that linens were provided. Beach is just about a three minute walk. Hope to stay here next year!

Even Better Than The First Time

We stayed here 2 years ago and loved it. This time was even better. Everything was very clean and decorated as if you were living there full time. The amenities and little touches by the owners and linen company were awesome. We didn't want to leave, but the kids put up a fight not to leave. A great place for families and kids.

Perfect Set-Up

We really enjoyed this property! The floor plan was perfect for our family. Our son, daughter-in-law and young grandson had their privacy on the top floor. We loved the ocean views on the east side and nightly sunsets from the west side. The walk to the beach was convenient and we frequented the community pool right across the street. We will definitely stay here again!

Fabulous beach getaway

Our extended family of 7 had a great week at Josi Whales. Good communication with the owner & easy check in. House was clean, well decorated with amazing ocean views. The kitchen has everything you need. It’s a short walk to the beach & you can ride bikes to shopping & restaurants. Plenty of furniture for enjoying the decks & patio.
