Relaxing family holiday in beautiful surroundings

The hosts met us at the house, great communication and recommendations. Very friendly area, the shop across the road does almost everything especially breakfast croissants. The pool was a fantastic addition and a highlight for our 2 year old. I would say the photos dont do it justice

We (6 adults) spent a very enjoyable two weeks at Villa des Rosiers. We were warmly welcomed by the owners who were very helpful and quickly answered any questions we had. The villa is clean, well equipped both indoors and out and we didn't feel that anything was missing. Some basic provisions such as tea, sugar, flour, oil, vinegar, were in the pantry area for use. We found the beds to be very comfortable. Plenty seating areas outside, both in the sun and the shade. Good pool which we made use of every day. We had hired the whole villa which includes a downstairs bedroom, one of us wanting to avoid the stairs. Unfortunately our stay coincided with a heatwave and sleeping downstairs at night was almost impossible as there is no air conditioning downstairs. A fan is provided but it was just not effective enough in 30C temperatures for us Scottish people! The three bedrooms upstairs were absolutely fine. The living room is also upstairs. There is an épicerie across the street for basic groceries - we used it mainly for fresh bread and croissants every morning. Carrefour is 5 minutes away by car. Plenty places to visit in the area without travelling far such as Minèrve, Caunes-Minervois and L'Oulibo (olive oil mill). Good food and good wine everywhere except La Terrasse in Minèrve (wouldn't recommend). A very good relaxed holiday in a Villa that we would return to and recommend to others. This would have been 5 stars if there had been better ventilation downstairs.

Nous avons apprécié l'excellent accueil de nos hôtes et leur gentillesse attentionnée. La villa est très propre, et particulièrement agréable: des coins nuits privatifs, une piscine de belle taille, et des aménagements intérieurs et extérieurs jolis et pratiques. Nous ne manquerons pas d'y revenir.
