Fern Hill Lodge

The whole experience at the Fern Hill Lodge was just amazing. Our hostess Katherine was fantastic, she has been super nice and helpful, providing a great deal of support during our stay. Check-in and check-out processes were super easy (and contactless). The place was meticulously clean, decorated beautifully exaxtly as shown in the puctures, and so welcoming and homey. The house is literally in the woods, and is very quiet. we enjoyed sitting outside (front and back decks) in the mornings and evenings, appreciating the nature. Also there were occasional visits by deer and a hummingbird. The house was beyond well-stocked and equipped, we cooked breakfast and dinner, ate at the beautiful dining table. Bathrooms were spotless, beds were comfortable, towels were big and plushy soft. Also lots of boardgames were available for us to play. If you ever had questions, the survival guide provided in each room, as well as the main guidebook folder in the kitchen were a great help. The house also provided some guidebook around the area, we rafted and kanoed on the Delaware River, went to Shohola Falls, hiked the Ten Miles River trail, visited White Lake and Lake Superior State Park... had a lot of fun. In the evenings we rosted marshmallows in the outside firepit, stargazed on the front porch and saw a handful of shooting stars...it was a great experience and we would love to come back here again to explore more.

Amazing getaway!

The home is warm and cozy with everything we needed. Beyond our expectations with lovely touches everywhere. A quiet secluded stay for our family this week. We couldn’t have asked for better. The host was always available and most gracious!
