Katama Beach House with Heated Pool and Central Air

Welcome to our dream beach house in Katama, Martha's Vineyard! Recently renovated, this home blends modern comfort with classic beach house charm. Featuring brand-new windows, a fully updated kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms and lower level with central air conditioning.This house is ready to provide the perfect getaway.

Situated on a large, fenced-in half-acre lot, the property includes a beautifully landscaped yard with a 22’x38’ heated pool and plenty of outdoor seating. Relax by the pool under large umbrellas, grill your favorite meals on a gas-line-connected grill, or dine al fresco at the outdoor dining table that seats eight, with a bistro table for four. Conveniently located between downtown Edgartown (just 1.6 miles away) and South Beach, it’s the perfect spot for biking, beach trips, and exploring.

The house comfortably sleeps 10 with four bedrooms and three baths, plus an additional outdoor shower. Hardwood floors throughout, stained in a light white wash, add to the coastal vibe.

Interior Highlights

First Floor: Step inside to a dining room with a farmhouse table that seats six (expandable to eight) and an open-concept family room with a 60-inch flat-screen TV. The fully renovated kitchen includes a gas range, dishwasher, and an island with seating for 3-4. Down the hall, you’ll find a queen bedroom overlooking the backyard and a full bath.
Second Floor: Upstairs features two large bedrooms and a shared full bathroom. The master bedroom includes a king-size bed, office nook, and direct bathroom access. The second bedroom offers four twin beds and plenty of space.
Lower Level: A finished family room with a 65-inch TV, a bedroom with a full-size bed and extra-long twin, and another full bathroom provide even more room to relax.
Outdoor Perfection
Start your mornings with coffee by the pool and a refreshing dip. Rent bikes from Edgartown Cycle for a scenic ride to South Beach or drive your 4WD onto Norton Point Beach for a day of sand and surf. Afterward, rinse off in the outdoor shower, enjoy the late afternoon sun by the pool, and cap off the day with dinner on the patio.

Additional Information
The pool opens Memorial Day Weekend. For safety, a Ring video system monitors the pool and driveway gate. These cameras are installed solely for security and are not viewed during guest stays.

Terrific home and property. House was clean, had everything we needed and provided plenty of space for our family. The pool was phenomenal as was the location as we are avid Norton Pt fans. Additionally, the house is very private and very quiet which is great. I'd highly recommend this rental - great communication from owner, super clean house, beautiful places to hang outside and of course the pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay w/ zero issues.

Beautiful place!

We absolutely loved our stay! Accommodations were perfect. Linens are very nice (I am super picky about linens!). Location is amazing. We had five kids between 13 and 15 and they had a blast biking in to Edgartown to fish and shop! We stay on the Vineyard annually and will definitely be booking here again!!

Picturesque Setting

The setting of this home was spectacular. The landscaping was beautiful and very peaceful. The brand new kitchen was bright and inviting and met all our culinary needs. The home was clean and tidy with a tasteful beach aesthetic. The pool was an added benefit for our party of ten. It was nice to have the option of relaxing by the pool or hanging out at the beach. South beach was close which made it easy for those of us who had to go back and forth for work meetings. There was plenty of room for our two families to unwind and play games in the evenings. The owner was very easy to work with and answered all my questions in a timely manner. I would definitely stay here again

Oasis on the Vineyard

The property exceeded our expectations. The backyard in particular is a highlight. The pool is much larger than appears in the photo and same with the yard. Kids were able to play in pool and have some fun on the grass. The home was comfortable and tastefully decorated that felt like home but not cluttered. Perfect for two families, one master and kid room upstairs and one master on main floor with another kid room downstairs. Kitchen is equipped with everything needed. We even found a few board games and puzzles to entertain us. The host has thought of everything. The location of the home is in perfect proximity to Edgartownn where we allowed the kids to bike to everyday for ice cream and a visit to the candy shop. We hope to stay here again in the future!

MV Visit

Outstanding Property

This property was great inside and out for our family group of 10. The large yard's amazing. Owner provided pool toys and corn hole game. We loved the two tables around the pool which allowed adults kids to eat separately. House is totally remodeled and very comfortable and spacious. We especially loved the large lower level with 65" tv which gave the kids their own space. There were several containers of Legos and they got lots of use in that lower level where the 5 kids ages 11-6 could also choose their own shows/movies. The owner was great and very responsive to any issues. Located only 5 min from South Beach, the location was also 7 min from Stop & Shop. Would highly recommend this property.

Beach Vacation

This house was perfect for our family- close to the beach and easy to get into town. And the pool is fantastic! The house was a great layout for everyone to have their own space. Everything was immaculate and well stocked with all you need for a beach getaway!

Great location, amazing backyard & so clean

The property was a great place for my family and to stay. It was fully stocked with towels, linens, basic necessities, beach chairs and bicycles! The house was very clean and the newly finished basement was a plus. The pool and yard were clean and a gorgeous place to spend time. The outdoor furniture was very comfortable! We had a great stay!

Great Weekend Getaway!

The house is in a great location right between the beach and town- easy bike ride to both. The owner was easy to work with answered all of my questions and was accommodating to our check in time. The pool was not yet open but I was told was opening in June. The yard is fenced in and has a stone patio in the back with a dining table. The grass and landscaping are all newly planted and coming in now. Bedrooms are spacious and kitchen is well equipped. Keurig coffee make so make sure to have k-cups! It was just the two of us for the weekend but could accomodate at least 8.
