Great location with an ocean view from the front of the house. The walk to the beach access took less than a minute and we were pleasantly surprised by that. The house was great and we hope to stay again.

Destination- OBX

Had a great stay- Has everything you would need and more. I now feel like I am friends with Barbara. :) Will definitely stay here again.

Great place for large family

It was convenient to the beach and had great indoor and outdoor spaces. The pool and hot tub were a nice plus when the ocean was rough for our littles. Very well stocked kitchen for any cooking needs.

Family time in the Outer Banks

Fantastic visit with our family at the beach. The house was wonderful, just a short walk to the beach access. Also conveniently located a short drive to the Dunes and Wright Brothers Museum. Doesn’t get any better than this!!

Best in 40 years!!

We have been going to OBX annually for 40 years. This was by far the best placeWe have ever stayed. The kitchen was fully stocked, check in was a breeze, and the walk to the beach was easy. Having bathroom at the public beach access was a plus. We are planning to rent again next year and hope to for years to come.

Best stay in OBX yet!

We’ve been starting in OBX for several years now and this was the best stay yet! The house was everything that was described and the contact with Barbara, the owner, was quick and painless, unlike difficulties we’ve had trying to have issues resolved with a number of realty offices. The one minor issue that cropped up was resolved by Barbara in a matter of 1 quick call and she was extremely willing to make things right. Would absolutely stay here again!!

Couldn’t ask for better

Destination OBX definitely exceeded our expectations. Plenty of room for our entire family. Spacious rooms, wonderful living space and dinner space for us to eat together. Beautiful sunrises from the outdoor areas, couldn’t ask for better. Barbara was a gracious host and we look forward to making memories there again! Thank you Barbara!

Great house for a large family celebration

This house was perfect for our large family to gather and celebrate my daughter’s first birthday. The top floor is very spacious with plenty of seating options for family meals and games. The weather was not great while we were in OBX, but the pool was perfect for the pockets of sunshine we did have. The beach is just across the street and numerous grocery stores within a 5 min drive to pick up supplies. Barbara communicated frequently leading up to and during our stay and promptly resolved any issues (all minor). Overall had a great stay and highly recommend the house.

graduation celebration

Stayed at destination OBX following my son's college graduation. House is well located-diagonally across from the beach entrance and a short drive to two piers and grocery and drug store. House had everything we needed. We had a crowd of college age guys so ended up cooking most of our meals. Two full size fridges and newly renovated kitchen was helpful to have. Bedrooms were comfortable and it was nice to be able to give everyone their own bedroom and at least a semi-private bath. Pool was pristine and the guys got a lot of used the hot tub daily. Mother nature was not cooperative so we had a lot of cool, windy weather. Hot tub and game room were nice to have given that swimming was not an option. I would recommend this rental to any family or group of friends who are looking for a relaxing place to enjoy the outer banks. The owner, Barbara contacted me half way through our week to make sure we had everything we needed. I appreciated the extra attention, and I'm sure if we needed anything she would have made every effort to make it happen.

Wonderful location!!

We couldn't have picked a better property for our family vacation! The house is beautiful! Lots of room! Just a minute walk across the street to the beach. Lots of beach accessories/chairs so you don't have to pack your own. Such a wonderful vacation! Would absolutely book again!

Clean, close to beach. Very accommodating for large family .Pool used every day. Beautifully decorated, not overdone. Prior renters had not cleaned gas grill. (each renter should clean their own mess). Barbara was very nice to work with. Kitchen had everything we needed, even for our large shrimp feed. Appreciated the use of the home for the week. Will definitely be back.

Wonderful family house

The house was perfect for my entire family! The game room kept everyone entertained and the pool was perfect for afternoon swimming and playing. There was plenty of room for everyone and the house was nicely appointed and decorated well. Barbara was great and super responsive.
