Very good

The interaction was good. We had no hot water for bathing and couldn't use the stove to cook because I think there was a problem with the gas. Something on the beds that were a little heavier than sheets would also be nice. The place was nice and well remodeled. It was very spacious.
We enjoyed casa Yuuk! My husband and I stayed a couple of nights while exploring Merida and near by Mayan archeological sites. The house has all the necessities covered and is very comfortable. The plunge pool was fantastic for cooling off after our explorations.
The hosts were friendly and communicative!

Good location, and nice rooftop patios.
Nice house in a good neighborhood, nice rooftop patios, and cute little dipping pool. Hot water ran out quickly. Internet did not work during our stay.

I am very sorry about the inconvenience with the internet. Unfortunately, it is not up to us as it is an external service and we contacted them to solve the problem but it was in the whole area, so we could not do much. We work to improve the stay of our guests. Thank you for your comments.
The house is not fancy but it is a good value and the neighborhood is very cool. Grab some baguettes at the panaderia by the Ermita de Santa Isabel just a couple of blocks away and get food and drinks at the Autogiro Ermita Cantina a couple of blocks past that. You won't regret it!
The house was comfortable. We especially enjoyed the garden and the roof decks. There’s lots of little restaurants and shops in the area, but you really need Spanish, as there are not a lot of expats there. It’s about 20 blocks to the Zocalo and a mile to a supermercado.

Dear Deborah, thanks for your review, very appreciated! Let me just clarify that we are just 9 blocks away from the Zocalo (Plaza Grande). Hope to see you soon!
The house was spacious and clean. The A/C both upstairs and downstairs was excellent. Once the manager had the gas turned on, we were happy to have use of the stove. Unfortunately, the pool was only cleaned and ready to use for the last few days of our stay. The neighbourhood felt safe and friendly, and we enjoyed the 25 minute walk into downtown each morning and evening.
The property is gorgeous, traditional yet modern, clean and absolutely charming.
The house has a few terraces for you to chill, including a lovely well-sized pool to survive the Mayan heat.
The location is fantastic so you can walk everywhere, yet have peace and calm at night time as the house is also very safe.
The hosts were very kind and made the whole experience seamless and enjoyable. Pretty easy to get a hold of.
100% recommended.
This home is located in San Sabastian, a cute barrio in Merida with friendly neighbors. The house provides all the basics to enjoy your time in Merida. It is spacious, clean with wonderful breezes to be enjoyed on both balconies. Great air conditioning and overhead fans. Markets and pharmacies within walking distance. Although there was low water pressure, the shower had hot water. Owners are available and responsive to questions and concerns. The steep stairs to the second floor might be a problem for folks with knee problems.

We were surprised to have the neighborhood party which made our nights very complicated (all night). In addition there was work at the neighbors. I note severely because it is the responsibility of the host to prevent.
The pool is very small not big as expected with the picture.

Not what I thought it would be
The house was descent . Water pressure in showers were terrible. We had no miner home essentials, no trash bags, no paper towels. Inside of house lighting very poor. Even with laps and lights on. First bad experience on Virgo. We only ended staying one night . Had to end up renting hotel. By the way excellent place Palacios Maya Hotel ! I felt management needs to walk property and make sure everything is up to par .
I wish you guys the best

Hi Marcos, thanks for your comment. It will be useful for us to provide a better service. Let me just clarify that regarding water pressure, we regularly check the shower head and the taps. In the kitchen we provide the kitchen tools, but not consumables as extra trash bags or paper towels (it's a house, not an hotel). By the way, if you had asked we would have given them immediately. All the lights are working in the house. You had a problem with the TV power socket and we provided an extension immediately. Sorry to ear you left the house during your stay. We hope yo have you again as our guest. Best, Alejandra

We do not recommend!
My husband and I had the worst stay. The house was not clean and not as pictured. We had problems with ants, insects and cockroaches in the kitchen. The upstairs shower was broken and the downstairs shower only produces cold water.
The bed was of very bad quality so that we had a very bad night of sleep.
The host does not respond to my messages!!
We left after one night.
Do not stay here, the house in not in good shape.

Dear Lena, what exactly is the taste of giving 1 star, ruining the work of years?
For your information: in Yucatan is full of insects such as cockroaches and ants, despite daily cleaning. They are part of the environment and sometimes shows up, in fact Mérida is city built on a tropical forest. Anyway thank you for your review, we have just changed the bed bases which are now totally new and changed the shower head. It is not true that we don't respond to messages: my co-host has always been available via phone and I even offered you a refund by writing to you on Vrbo but you didn't respond. I wish you a good day.
The host was great and was a good communicator. It was within walking distance of the ADO bust station (we had bussed in from Valladolid). Rustic and recently renovated is a good description. Having a pool to cool off in was a huge plus. As one of the other reviewers pointed out, the water pressure for the showers was really low.
The neighborhood is great. A little mercado and places to eat right around the corner. It was fun to catch some baseball games at the field too.
The host are listed as premier for a reason. Easy process start to finish and they are excellent at communicating.
The house is great. Clean, comfortable and as pictured. The piscina is a god send on a May afternoon in beautiful Mérida. I’ve told many friends about my little yellow house in Merida. I will book this house again.
An extremely well organized house and very well equipped. The pool is small, a dipping pool, but pleasant. The hosts respond immediately to all questions. Great internet and cable service. All in all, a good value.
The home is very clean and spacious. Good communication with the owner and her manager. Within walking distance to many small restaurants. Ice cream shop and bread shop a block away. Nice park in the area. The pool is just right for a quick dip to escape the heat. The showers don’t have a lot of water pressure. The outside terraces were very nice to enjoy in the evening. Would rent this home again.
Our entire experience was more than comfortable and Alejandra was incredibly communicative.
