Loved this paradise!!!

Club Puerto Viejo was amazing. Having access to a pool and other relaxing spaces is what my family needed. We loved the outdoor lounge and kitchen areas. The rooms were great too and usually cooled off at night. We also enjoyed being close to the beach and great places to eat. Those looking for rest and relaxation will love this place!!

Why they chose this property

Welcome to Playa Negra, one of Puerto Viejo’s hidden gems and a perfect blend of wild nature, Caribbean culture, and tranquil beach life. Our home is nestled in a peaceful area just minutes from the heart of Puerto Viejo, yet far enough to enjoy quiet mornings with the sound of waves and howler monkeys in the distance.

Playa Negra is known for its striking black sand beach, surrounded by lush jungle and coconut palms. It's a great spot for morning walks, surfing, or simply watching the sunset with your feet in the sand.

What we love most about this neighborhood is its balance—close to nature, but with easy access to everything you need. You can bike into town in 5–10 minutes, explore the Jaguar Rescue Center, or head to nearby beaches like Playa Cocles or Punta Uva for a day trip. The energy here is peaceful, grounding, and uniquely Caribbean.
