Wonderful waterfront home

We had an amazing stay in Hampton Bays. The house was beautiful and location ideal. The house was stocked with everything you could need for a beach vacation. Everything was very clean and we enjoyed many meals at the beautiful kitchen table overlooking the bay. Check in and check out was very easy and the host was very responsive. We would highly recommend!

Great Vacation Week!

We had a wonderful stay at this property! We especially loved the private beach and the gorgeous views from the house. Both the inside and outside dining spaces were perfect for family meals- both comfortable and spacious! We loved sitting outside after dinner. This house is also close to everything we wanted. There were beaches and many kinds of restaurants nearby. The host, Katie, was very attentive and responded quickly whenever we had questions. It was a terrific week! Thanks again!

Perfect Getaway in the Hamptons

We stayed as a group of 7 for 5 nights in June 2024. We absolutely loved the house and the amenities that were included, esp. the huge Weber Grill and the well-equipped kitchen. The house was spotlessly clean.

Great Waterfront Rental

Fantastic views, comfy beds and a relaxing atmosphere. One of the nicest rentals that I have had the pleasure of staying in in the Hamptons area. Katie is an extremely friendly and attentive property owner. Will be back!!!

Wonderful stay!

From the moment we walked in, we loved this house. Tons of light and so close to the beach! We loved using the bikes, paddle boards and peddle boat. 5 minute drive or short bike ride over the awesome bridge to the beach. Would love to return! Perfect in law suite on the first floor for grandparent!

Beautiful vacation rental!

As soon as we entered the driveway I knew we made the right choice. The house is exactly as depicted in the photos and very beautiful. The property is located right on the bay with amazing water views. During our stay, we enjoyed the beach, and swimming in the bay. In the evening we had BBQs and watched the beautiful sunsets. We also enjoyed shopping and dining in the neighboring towns of Southampton and Westhampton. The house is very comfortable, including the beds! We had an amazing vacation! Thank you Katie!

Best family vacation ever!

My family and I really loved our one week long stay in Katie's beautiful home, it was the best vacation ever! The views were absolutely breathtaking, exactly as shown in the pictures, with all the listed amenities. The home was clean, fresh and inviting when we arrived. The bedrooms and beds were comfortable. The gorgeous private beach made it hard to want to leave, although there was plenty to explore nearby. We walked across the nearby Ponquogue Bridge to Ponquogue Beach which made for a fun afternoon adventure, and also ate at some great restaurants (Rumba, Flora, Out of the Blue Seafood). This was our first time staying in a vrbo, and after this terrific experience we will certainly be staying at Katie's place again during our next trip to the Hamptons!

Spectacular Bayside Setting With Easy Access to Ocean Beach

Our family LOVED this property. The views from the living areas were spectacular. The bedrooms were spacious with generous closets and dressers. The beds were super comfortable. Kitchen was open and airy. Lots or room at dining room table. And the outdoor space was glorious, for sitting, relaxing, reclining, dining or just star gazing. The bay beach was great for the babies and the ocean beach just 1 mile away - close enough to walk or bike ride. And a stunning beach - wide, white, clean and on weekdays-empty. Low key delicious restaurants a 5-8 minute drive. And the best seafood market in the Hamptons just a 10mminute walk from the house. Best beach house I’ve rented in 30 years!

AMAZING

We stayed at Katie’s home Thursday-Monday with my family. We were celebrating my grandmothers 80th birthday with my uncles, aunts, and cousins. It was absolutely perfect and had everything we could’ve asked for and more! The house was so clean when we got there! It was bright and open! The rooms were exactly what we expected! The outdoor yard, fire pit, and beach area was huge and so nice! They had everything from yard games to beach toys! We enjoyed the huge outdoor table for meals and games. The location in Hampton Bays is amazing as it’s so close to the ocean beaches as well as the village with restaurants and shops! Not only was the house and location incredible but Katie was an amazing host. She responded super fast to any questions we had. She prepped the home with anything we needed and made accommodations as we requested. I have never had a host with such attention to detail and such a drive to please their guests!!! I couldn’t recommend this home enough!! We will be coming back here!

Wonderful setting

Sited on a quiet, serene bay beach only a mile from the ocean beaches, the location is great, very private and equipped with beach chairs and kayaks. The house is clean and modern, filled with light, with decks that offer seating in sun or shade throughout the day. The blinds in two of the bedrooms were falling apart and inoperable, and were apparently on back order. Katherine was very responsive in offering a solution when we complained, but by then we just wanted to be left alone. Our only other negative was the feeling of stinginess when we found we needed to supply our own extra toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags, as well as any kitchen spices, (even pepper),condiments, laundry detergent, shower soap, and hair dryer. The kitchen is otherwise well equipped except for a lack of placemats. I have rented houses from Maine to California, Mykonos to Morocco, but have never been anywhere that there were so few “soft” amenities. However, this is my first Long Island rental and this may be the norm there.

Gretchen and her group took care of our house and followed the house rules I would recommend her group as tenants. It was unfortunate that the New blinds were not in for her stay but we’ve rectified the problem since and we did notify her prior to check in of the situation. We supply everything that is stated in our listing under amenities. We do supply trashbags, dish soap, hand soap, dishwasher tablets, toilet paper and paper towels just just not an over abundance of these items. Which I believe is standard. We do have a hairdryer perhaps she just wasn’t able to find it located in the bathroom cabinet. And we also do have salt and pepper packets located in the kitchen drawer. Laundry detergent and body wash are not included in our amenities but we would’ve been happy to supply them if they were requested.
