Nancy's home is very beautiful and clean. My family and I had an unbelievable week of sunshine by the pool and we were so close to the best beaches. I recommend this place to anyone and can't wait to lease from Nancy again in the future!

House was everything advertised online. We had a great 2 weeks there, it was everything we needed. Pool was great and heated. Owner was super responsive with any issues along the way. Would definitely return and recommend.

We loved having Shelby and her family. They took great care of our house and I would welcome them back anytime!
Great home and great location. Just the right size for my two teens and their two friends and me. Backyard is beautiful and the pool and hot tub were fantastic! The teens were all raving about how comfortable their beds were. Had a couple of questions after John and Nancy left after our check-in and I received immediate responses. Would definitely go back! Thanks, Nancy!

We really enjoyed hosting Clare and her family. The teenagers immediately let us know how excited they were with the house and pool area and couldn’t wait to dive in! I would love to have them come back!
We really enjoyed the privacy that the backyard offered, all you see is the beautifully landscape grand, pool and trees. Super private, which was perfect for us. Great comfy house for a group of 3-4 people. A short drive to SH Village, which is perfect for shopping or dining in great restaurants. We had some moonier issues when we arrive, but Nancy was super receptive and cleared everything up in seconds! Had a wonderful relaxing time, which is exactly what we were looking for! Thank you Nancy for a wonderful stay, Vivian

Great rental
My family spent Memorial Day Weekend at the house and had a great time. The pool is the perfect size and the deck and outside living area is well organized and comfortable for people to spread out to play cards, enjoy the fire pit, eat and relax :-) My dog got a few ticks on him in the yard but as previous renters mentioned they were easy to take off and did not bother the people. The location is very private and still a short drive to town. Inside the house is very well decorated and comfortable. I would recommend for a small group like ours.

We have the entire lawn and grounds sprayed organically for ticks, fleas and mosquitos once per month as recommended by our service. I have not had any problems but keep in mind that when walking the dog at the beach, there are ticks in the dunes and also in any area with tall grasses, dry leaves, etc. Our gardener comes each week and mows and keeps the lawn quite manicured.

Loved it!
An absolutely wonderful vacation! We have been vacationing in the Hamptons for over 15 years and this rental has topped the list. The house is easy to get to and close to the town and beaches. The heated pool was a welcome retreat after a day at the beach. The property is beautifully landscaped and everyday i enjoyed my morning coffee on the deck overlooking the yard. The home was well stocked with linens and pantry items. The owners met us at the house to ensure we knew how to use everything and recommended some wonderful restaurants. My family has already requested we rent the home again next year and we hope to be able to do so!

Great, quiet holiday escape
Found this listing quite randomly but immediately fell in love with the pictures. Worked it out to stay over Labor Day weekend, us and another couple, and was really glad it worked out.
Home is away from the popular, trendy center of town - which is just what we were looking for. Indeed, it checked a lot of boxes for us: quiet, private, excellent well-kept pool, overall comfortable living space, lots of greenery, roomy kitchen, fully stocked towels and linens, and on and on.
Was a little pricier than we were hoping for originally, but in the end, it was definitely worth the extra expense. And we're already thinking about when we might be able to stay again next year.

Great escape from NYC!
This home was beautiful and perfect for a relaxing getaway from NYC. It was an easy and quick drive and located near everything (grocery store, beach, great fish markets, liquor store, restaurants). We stayed for a week with four adults, a toddler, and a Yorkie. The setting is very relaxing, clean, and inviting. Everything was as described and whatever we needed was there (beach chairs, laundry, cooking needs, beach towels). The pool was very relaxing and warm, we walked to the beach in the evening, and enjoyed the stars from the deck at night.
Only recommendation is if you are bringing a pet treat them for ticks. (the owner gave us the heads up and treated the lawn). Our dog wandered all over the fenced in property and we found ticks on him but did not effect the people at all. We will all be back!

My house is situated on a large piece of property and faces a preserve so there 's a real sense of being in the country. 75 percent of the yard is manicured lawn, but there is an area which is natural field and forest. The deer fencing keeps animals out for the most part and we have bunnies and beautiful birds fortunately!
Wonderful privately situated home near bay and conveniences that serves as a great getaway!
I had a wonderful stay at this property. It was my husband, myself and my son (and dog) staying there and the size was just perfect for us. It was also perfect to be able to invite family members that came over to visit as well. My dog loved the property and the areas were perfect for her to roam with a nice area away from the pool for her to “do her business.”. The pool and deck in the back is gorgeous and served as a wonderful entertaining area. With plenty of space, seating and umbrellas for shade. The pool is actually situated perfectly for sun through early afternoon, but not too much sun, it’s just right. When I first arrived there were a few questions I had and things to work out and Nancy was highly responsive taking care of things immediately. In addition, Nancy followed up when I had left an item at the house which was very kind. I’d definitely stay at this lovely property again. Thank you so much!
Just got back from a 3 week stay with my family (wife + 3kids + dog). Upon arrival through check-out Nancy and John were very responsive and had open communication throughout our stay. The backyard was perfect for the entire family. Pool + hot tub were great for the kids! Yard is completely fenced in with plenty of room for the dog to run around as well as for the kids to play on the lawn. The house was very comfortable for all of us to lounge around playing board games and sleeping. Location was a huge plus for us giving the proximity to South Hampton, Sag Harbor, and North Fork area. Plenty of great restaurants in Hampton Bays (cowfish, centro, rumba, canal cafe). Would definitely go back and appreciate Nancy and John making our vacation a wonderful experience!
The location of this property is ideal as everything you'd want or need is within reach! Two of the top beaches in the area are just a 15 minute drive away, and it's only quick 5 to the nearby stores. Both John and Nancy were very responsive to accommodate anything that came up throughout our stay.

Eric and his parents were fantastic and inspite of it being a bit of a rainy Memorial Day, they had a good time and enjoyed all the great things the Hamptons has to offer. Please come back!
Nancy is incredibly unprofessional and dismissive. Our whole vacation was a nightmare. We even left a day early! We had 2 major issues. The tick problem in the yard is out of control. To find over 12 ticks on our dogs and numerous on ourselves is outrageous. We paid $500 extra for our dogs and only let them out 3x a day for a few mins at a time. We never would’ve brought them if we knew the ticks were so bad. Maybe it wouldn’t have been as bad if the lawn was mowed, manicured, and sprayed prior to our arrival. The grass was above our ankles - we had to ask them to get someone there to mow the lawn.
We also had no AC for THREE days! To pay for a home with AC and then not have it for 3 days is unacceptable. Mind you I’m 8months pregnant and have a toddler. Nancy’s resolutions were to open the windows/doors, go in the pool, go to the beach, or go to a restaurant to “cool down”. Those suggestions are comical! It was 81 degrees in the house. Nancy kept saying an AC tech was going to come and they were not coming. We cancelled our plans for 2 evenings in a row and 1 whole day since she said they were coming multiple times. On evening #2 without AC, we moved our dinner plans since Nancy claimed they would be there between 4pm - 5pm. When they didn’t show, I proposed vacating early and a refund for the rest of our stay. Nancy did not even TRY to come to a resolution. She said she would send “a fan” (which we never received) and then hung up on me.
Nancy was extremely difficult to communicate with, speaking over me and not letting me get a word in. When I had to talk louder in order to speak, she accused me of “attacking” her. She defamed my husband’s character calling him miserable because he has a pregnant wife and a toddler. Absolutely horrible. She refused to give us any sort of refund because it was her “high season” and she “cannot afford” to lose money. The issues we faced with no AC and the tick infestation should’ve fallen on HER as the property owner, not us the guests.
The house is not maintained and is VERY lived in. The pics make it look 50x nicer. Sliding doors to the pool are janky and not working properly, the master bath is in serious need of an update, and the house is extremely cluttered with the owner’s belongings shoved in every nook and cranny.
Nancy will respond to this review to make it seem like we are at fault. This is her M.O., look at other negative reviews she has received. She’s willing to take no responsibility!

Melissa was impossible to deal with and I had to report her & her husband 'to VRBO for her abusive texts and phone calls and lies by Wednesday night. They seemed to be angling for some free nights from the moment they arrived.
The lawn is mowed every Friday morning and we spray once a month for ticks. I sprayed again 2 more times on Monday & Tuesday of Melissa's stay at my cost due to her concerns. She brought three (3) dogs for the price of two and I have no idea where they were walking the dogs. My two previous guests both had dogs and had no problem, in fact, I had a 5 star review on Airbnb for June 3 -6 at $1500 per night. I gave Melissa a discount so she paid much less. Memorial Day week guests loved the house, too, and had a dog but no tick problem. My husband and I also garden and we did not get a single bite!
We have central HVAC and in the house "how to's", it's clearly stated that if you leave the doors open and the air conditioning on or turn it below 68 degrees, the coils can freeze over and the system will stop working. We have only had this issue once in 7 years. She hysterically called on Wednesday night at 7 pm that the AC wasn't working. I immediately called the emergency # and we were put on a wait list. It was 75 degrees at 7 pm and going down to 63. I have the screen shot. The repair people came as soon as they could -- it took a day & a half -- the temperatures on Thursday & Friday were 66 high with a 55 low. There are two overhead fans and I offered to buy a third but they refused and said that they were leaving.
My maid went to clean on Friday morning and there were four (4) cars in the driveway although they claimed to have checked out Thursday and demanded a three night refund. The rental was for Melissa and her husband, their two year old and her parents.
I am uploading a video of the yard that I took on June 6, the day of their arrival. Judge for yourself!
Beautiful secluded garden setting to relax and dine outdoors. We loved swimming in the pool, the garden is so green, with beautiful flowers and lush foliage all around. Nancy gave us wonderful recommendations for restaurants and beaches, perfectly suiting our family needs. The house is situated between Hampton Bay and Southhampton, a 6-10 min drive either way to restaurants, beaches and shopping. We loved using the outdoor shower in the mornings. This is a perfect retreat for couples or a friends getaway. Great value for the summer prices!

My sister, brother in law and myself stayed at this cute bungalow over Memorial Day. We really enjoyed ourselves. The backyard is beautiful and it was nice to have a heated pool, as it was still only in the 70’s. Our dogs loved the fenced in backyard.
Nancy was extremely responsive and gave helpful advise regarding restaurants and activities. The house is a quick drive to Southampton. We really enjoyed our time and will definitely rent this home again.

Best Hamptons Vacation
My friend and I had a wonderful time in Shinnecock Hills for a long, restful weekend. I was here last August and loved the manicured property -- this mid-Century style house is meticulously clean and well equipped with all the bells and whistles. It's 7 minutes from Southampton and a 5 minute walk to Shinnecock Bay -- it makes for a fun weekend even off season. We went to Wolfer Vineyards, dined waterside at Cowfish which had a hip band on Friday night, shopped at the store sales and had brunch at a sidewalk cafe in Southampton Village. I also enjoyed grilling and cooking at home. Nancy & John were very helpful in guiding us to the best nightlife and beaches.

We were so pleased to have Bruce back at the house after welcoming he and his family last summer. Over the winter, we repainted the interiors in addition to putting in new recessed lighting. I also updated all of the linens and added some additional storage in the kitchen. I am happy to hear that it was such a nice weekend getaway for he and his wife.

Dirty & Dangerous - Stay Away!
I have rented from VRBO in the Hamptons numerous times and have never had an issue, however this particular home & homeowner have been a nightmare to deal with.
We stayed in this home over Labor Day 2018 and it is clear that the owner Nancy has let it go. The house is listed for sale and she clearly has stopped paying attention to it. Upon our check in, the house was both dirty and in a condition that was unsafe for rental to a family with young children. A few examples:
1. The house was not clean upon our arrival. We found dead flies and broken glass on the ground. My 3 year old son cut his foot on the broken glass which ruined our first night there.
2. The back door to the pool is broken (can just be pushed open) and there are no pool alarms, making it very unsafe for families with kids.
3. The owner's personal junk is in every drawer, nook, and cranny. There is nowhere to store your stuff.
4. There is black mold in the washing machine.
5. The back deck, pool, and hot tub were full of leaves and have not been cleaned prior to our arrival.
6. There was half a pot of days old coffee and old food in the fridge when we arrived.
I called Nancy during and after our stay to attempt to get these issues resolved and she was totally unresponsive. She put me in touch with her associate John who denied any issue with the house and then took 100% of our security deposit despite us cleaning the house prior to our departure. Use extreme caution and think twice before booking this house. The pictures do not represent the real condition and the owner is a nightmare to deal with. You will get zero service / help from Nancy or John and if you complain about it, they will take your security deposit!! Just terrible all around

These renters were threatening me that they would write a bad review if I didn't give them a free night -- which no one does on a holiday weekend. They did got charge back of $1380 from Amex after making these false charges. It was overruled once my documents were submitted and I got full payment. They only paid a $250.00 security deposit and they agreed that I should take $125 for an early check in. After their stay, there were red wine stains on the bar stool cushions, the grill was filthy & it actually burst into flames, singeing the wall which had to be fixed. I therefore kept the remaining $125 which really didn't cover the damages. Prior to their arrival, I spent $200 having the house cleaned, plus an additional $125 to have the couch steam cleaned. It was immaculate. I'm not sure where the shard of glass came from as nothing was broken when I arrived after my last guest left. Also, I was walking barefoot doing last minute checks and was fine. They called about a shard of glass 4 hours after check-in & may have broken something themselves. We have a first aid kit and it was apparently minor since there was no doctor's visit -- insurance covers this BTW. My pool and hot tub were cleaned at a cost of $100 the night before. I have used the same house cleaning service for 5 years and never had a complaint. I had made myself a cup of coffee while I waited to greet them -- for the coffee filter, I take responsibility. We also leave condiments which most guests appreciate. I referred the complaints to John, my house manager since Mr. G harassed me throughout his stay. He just seemed like an unhappy guy. There is saying that "no good deed goes unpunished" and these people were clearly an example of that! Beware of these renters!!! My Bose sound was also broken and unrepairable & the grill had to be replaced. I look forward to each rental season and do whatever is necessary to insure the comfort of my guests!

Beautiful grounds and great location!
My family had a wonderful time at this home. I would give this 4 1/2 stars. Pretty grounds with a lot of amenities. The home was well appointed and comfortably fit me, my wife and two kids. Nancy was very responsive to our requests and always happy to help out when needed. Thank you for making sure we were well taken cared of. Loved the heated pool and the Jacuzzi. Lots of grass as well to play on. Very relaxing and quiet area with South Hampton, Hampton Bays and multiple beaches just minutes away. Just make sure to apply bug spray while you are there just because there can be mosquitos early in the morning and evening. My only suggestion would be to not plant flowers right next to the outdoor dining room table or at least move the table to another location. Very pretty but attracted a lot of bees and made it a challenge to eat outside at the dining table because my four year old is scared of bees. Otherwise everything was great. Thanks Nancy!

This time of Year the flowers are in bloom so it’s a bit of a trade off with the bees. I did ask my gardener to trim back the flowering bushes and we moved the table. The yard is sprayed for mosquitos and ticks once a month. Personally, I’ve never had a mosquito bite likely because the house is at the top of a hill away from swampy areas.

Relaxing and comfortable weekend get away
Had a lovely weekend break staying at this home - and lots of quality time relaxing and reading around the pool. Didn't brave the pool temps but it was a good size , clean and look very enticing ! Home was very accurately pictured on the site. We drove 20 mins to the ocean beaches each day which are magnificent - and post Labor Day allow dog access. A very relaxing and enjoyable stay at this home.
