Close to White Stone , Kilmarnock, and Irvington, restaurants and shops abound . The 4 star Tides Inn Resort has all major hotel sports and amenities including golf , tennis , boating , jet skis , pool , fabulous waterside dining . Charter fishing trips are available very close by. River House is 1.25 hours east of Richmond so easily drivable from DC, and western and southern Va. Historic Jamestown, Yorktown, and Williamsburg are all within 40 mins drive . This is the ideal spring , summer or fall vacation . Cozy in winter with 2 fireplaces and discounted rates .
