The host and location of the place were great. The amenities were a little more standard and bare but I think it’s a fantastic spot for a large group who plans to sleep and not necessarily entertain. Cozy and comfortable.
Thanks for allowing us to stay at your place. We had the entire place to ourself and it was clean and comfortable.
The neighborhood was nice and quiet. The yard was nice and big with plenty of sniffing space for the pups.
Thanks again!
The beds were uncomfortable but we were there for the football game. Everything was fine

Major Gap between Listing and Reality
This host was very available and responsive to pre- and during communications (thank you) and I rarely if ever include negative reviews, but the gap between reality and the listing is too wide for me to say nothing. Especially at a premium price. We've stayed in at least four other ND rentals, and this was the first that was bad. This home would have been OK for a trip with 5-7 (younger) guys just looking for a place to sleep on a big football party weekend. We however had a full family including my mom... and we came very close to leaving after first night. The home was run down and dirty. We had to re-clean the dishes. The ones in the cabinet had hardened spaghetti still on them. Stains on the bedspread. Kitchen towels dirty (or at very least highly stained). Holes in the downstairs sink. Curtains or shades missing, not working and definitely not same as photos. Nor were the couches. Coffee maker broken. We canceled a small backyard get together, because backyard was a mess (broken fence, deck boards broken or dingy). Even some simple things from target (matching, clean towels... matching dishes and glasses.. a new bedspread, a keurig) would have helped. A thorough cleaning and some paint required. Location was very convenient to ND. With even a small amount of work, this simple home could be a perfectly fine ND home for a long weekend at campus. But it's far from that right now.
The house was very misrepresented. It had a terrible odor, was exceptionally shabby and dated inside and out and we left after five minutes of a walk through. The gate to the overgrown back yard did not work to enclose for our dog. I absolutely would not recommend this place and hope to get at least a partial refund.
As other reviews noted, this property isn’t anything fancy, but has a good host and location to Notre Dame is only minutes away. We were in town for Baton Twirling Championships and really only needed a place to sleep and make a few meals, as we weren’t there much at all. When we arrived we thought the exterior of the house as well as the yard could use some attention. Located in a quiet neighborhood, this house is very similar in size to those surrounding it, but other properties are much better kept up. When we arrived after check in at 4:20, there was still someone in the house cleaning, but left about 10 minutes later. Even after it was cleaned, we noticed sticky residue on the kitchen floor that we cleaned up and I wiped up residue from some cabinets and exterior of microwave. None of this was a big deal, as we just needed a quiet place to sleep each night and have room for meal prep to take to campus each day with us.
This was a super convenient location to stay, had a TON of sleeping space, and was very comfortable for my group. Also in a very quiet area that is very convenient. The host was great too! Easy to communicate with!
The connector and cable going into the modem are loose. They need to be crimped. The wifi was spotty; we had to be super careful not to touch the modem because the slightest jostle disconnected it.
This house was exactly as described in the listing. Definitely nothing fancy but it was clean and perfect for a group of 9 adults. It was great that each couple had their own room and that the stadium was so close. It only took about 15 minutes to walk to the tailgate lot. The neighborhood felt safe and we had a great time in the backyard around the fire pit each night. We'd definitely stay here again. Thank you!
Just what our family & dog needed. Plenty of room inside. Fun, fenced backyard to relax and play. Thank you!

This property made our visit with our son very enjoyable and comfortable. The house was very nice and cozy and in a safe neighborhood. We had everything we needed and quite pleased as this was our first experience renting a VRBO. We will definitely do it again!
This property was exactly what we'd hoped for. The location was awesome, quiet neighborhood and safe too. We walked to the football game and back to the property that night. Michael is a great host as well, communicated and made sure we were doing good via email. I'd stay here again and any other properties he may have!
This was a great place to hang out on a football weekend and visit Notre Dame. If you're into walking you could walk to campus and only a 2 minute drive. Having five rooms for our party was perfect.
