The house and host were great! It was the perfect place to stay to celebrate our nephew’s wedding and have a quiet, clean welcoming place to rest and relax. Andrea, the host, was responsive and made us feel welcome with a tray of smore fixings. Totally recommend!

Another successful stay!

Property was fantastic and had every amenity one could want or need. I've stayed at both Roost and Nest on the Run properties and both exceed expectations. Will never consider another property in this locale.

Family Weekend!

This was by far the best rental I’ve ever stayed at! The owners/host clearly put a lot of thought into every little detail—from the bathroom hooks and ample space for toiletries to the sticks provided for making s’mores. The house was incredibly spacious, spotless, and truly welcoming. We even received a thoughtful welcome spread (see photo attached). It felt like everything we could possibly need was already there. Highly recommend!

Excellent VRBO in Mount Joy

The Roost is an excellent VRBO. Very very nice. Nice layout and furnished. Comfortable for all ages, we had family there from 2 to 74. Games for all. Great comfortable beds. Bathrooms first class. HVAC and wifi worked well. Private backyard. Owners easy to communicate with. We’d highly recommend the Roost.

Amazing Property!

The photos don’t do it justice, it’s even nicer in person! It’s an incredibly clean and beautifully decorated property. Every detail has been thought of, from coffee to creamer, dishes to use outdoors and s’mores ingredients. Our son got married at Melhorn Manor during our stay (the bride’s parents rented Nest on the Run next door). We all agreed the location of these homes in proximity to the venue was perfect. Amazing properties! Look no further, HIGHLY recommend them!

Our large group of girls had an amazing experience at this house. We used this house for our wedding weekend, our venue being a 5 minute walk down the road. Communication with the owner was amazing from day 1 of booking until check out.

Perfect mix of Classic and Cozy

This house instantly felt like home. The room layouts, the interior decorating, the attention to detail - it was all just perfect. Our group (two families with kids aged 6 - 14) wished we could have stayed longer. We all loved this house. There was more then enough room for all of us. With the rain, we were unable to enjoy all of the amenities outside, but loved the video games, comfy couch and multiple smart tv's throughout the house. The bathrooms and kitchen were immaculate and well stocked. The signs throughout the home were clear and helpful, and the welcome book actually gave us a lot of good tips for things to do in the area. We come to Hershey often, and this will now be our "go-to" house for sure!

For weddings and family reunions

This property was ample space for our family of 8 adults gathered for a wedding nearby. The house is pristine clean inside and out, has 3 porches and great backyard space with rocking chairs and a fire pit and lots of room to run. Lots of parking. The kitchen was amply stocked; the furniture was comfortable. There are only 2 bathrooms, but they are spacious and it worked out fine. Area has walking trails, beer breweries, farms, Hershey nearby, so lots to do. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer!

Perfect stay at a perfect house for a perfect wedding!

This home and the sister property next door were perfect places for the bride's family and groom's family along with bridesmaids and groomsmen to stay the weekend. We all made it a home away from home with a deluxe kitchen, new appliances, ample gathering places, video games and many local Mount Joy decorations. Comfortable beds and linens, ample parking, a fire pit, treats upon arrival, and great communication. A+ all around!

Dutch Wonderland/Hershey Park

We stayed at Roost on the Run with a total of 4 adults and 4 children. This home was beautifully equipped and maintained. Anything you can possibly need and more! Firewood for fireplace, plenty of towels, gas for gas grill, utensils/plates etc. It is worth noting that the entire home had been renovated and is completely modern with beautiful appliances, cabinetry, and furniture. Andrea was very easy to work with and quick to respond. Would highly recommend!

Amazing property filled with thoughtful touches

This is the nicest property I’ve ever rented. The owners clearly went to great trouble to provide for every detail. From an exceedingly well stocked kitchen to luxurious bathrooms, this was a true getaway. The owners were accessible, kind, and great folks. We loved this house inside and out (the firepit and s’mores were a huge hit). Location was central to so many fun things that my family could’ve easily spent longer. I was sad to leave but look forward to returning. Thank you for a magnificent getaway.
