Colorful home with Palapa Terrace & large green space in the Heart of the Pueblo

Enjoy being in the heart of Lo de Marcos, just steps from restaurants, cafes, the plaza and a four minute walk to the beach while feeling like you're in the countryside with your courtyard full of fruit trees, an expanse of green grass and hammocks. This freshly and lovingly renovated 50 year old traditional Mexican house has come alive with the owners love of colour and collection of art and objects from around the world.

In the spring of 2024 I built myself a small casita at the very back of the property behind the banana and guava trees. It is a big lot and you can’t even see my casita from Casa Clara so there is privacy for everyone.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Perfect!

We very much enjoyed our stay in Lo de Marcos. The property was as advertised - well-furnished, clean, quiet and in an excellent location, just steps to the beach. Four our 5-day stay, it was perfect!

Beautiful, Comfortable & Great Location!

I had the pleasure of staying in this delightful place and enjoyed every minute. It’s in the heart of the lovely little Mexican village of Lo de Marcos and everything the village has to offer – food shops, restaurants, coffee shops, pharmacies, and even a hardware store – is just a short walk away. The space has wonderfully designed indoor and outdoor living. as well as a huge back yard. The whole place is walled and I felt safe and secure. The kitchen was well appointed so cooking was enjoyable too. And the bonus was that the beautiful, uncrowded beach was just a five-minute walk along the main street. This is definitely where I’ll stay the next time I’m in Lo de Marcos.

Fabulous in Every Way

I could not have been happier. tracy’s place is beautiful - from waking up to the sights and sounds of birds and seeing flowers to listening to old LPS, to using the kitchen - fabulous! The bed is so comfortable. The outdoor dining table was myplace to eat and write. Plenty of hot water. And last, but not least, Tracy is a wonderful human being and host. She’s easy to talk with, very accessible, and helpful. i

I have lived in Sayulita since 2005 but fell in love with the tranquility of Lo de Marcos and so began the move over here. I bought this old Mexican house on the calle principal in 2019/2020 and renovated it in 2020/2021. The high slanted ceilings with the original brick were not touched but everything else is brand new. I live in Mexico all year round and love designing and building!

Why they chose this property

The location can't be beat! Right next door to a tienda, kitty-corner to the big plaza where the Saturday market takes place, with restaurants all at walking distance and the beach just a four minute stroll make this location perfecto, if you ask me!

What makes this property unique

Feeling like you're surrounded by nature and flowers while being in the middle of the pueblo, close to all amenities. There is also a one bedroom studio, full bathroom with kitchenette and desk, great for digital nomads, available right beside it if you need a second bedroom. Just ask me what the extra fees would be. Four people maximum in Casa Clara and Casita Lucita, together.

Visit my store website Cosmic Milkshake :) It's on the commercial side of the casa you're staying in. I carry colourful textiles and objects from Chiapas and Oaxaca, India, Morocco and Turkey.
