Spacious open main floor with lots of natural light and views of surrounding mountains. The upper level has 3 bedrooms - a primary suite with a king bed, its own walk in closet and bathroom with views of the river. 2 guest bedrooms both have queen beds, one has an additional (2) twin beds. Located in the River West community that has their own river access. Wonderful location on the river trail which can take you into downtown Salida or up and around Frantz Lake. Home has over 10 fun classic bikes for your use plus a ping pong table. Paddle boarding, mountain biking, hiking, tubing the activities are endless!

It's always been a dream of ours to carve out a piece of a Colorado mountain town, some place to share with our kids, extended family and friends. We had our eye on Salida for about a year or so before we were able go for it! We live in Denver full time but try to get to Salida as much as possible. This is our first time opening our home as a rental, we think you'll love the location, quiet, and warmth as much as we do too.

Why they chose this property

Close enough to town but far enough away to enjoy the quiet. 50 yards from the river, say no more! We love to walk/ride/run the river trail or cross the river and explore Tenderfoot Mountain. The River West Community is welcoming and like minded, making your stay feel authentic and relaxed.
