Outside is a lovely backyard with patio furnishings, song birds and hot tub. (Bathrobes are provided).

Diane was the perfect host! Very attentive to anything I needed.
I loved my stay at this beautiful place. The location was great. I hated leaving. I give it my highest recommendation!

Lucky is the host who has Marianne as a guest! She was very friendly, kept the property in excellent order, and had a gorgeous cat who was well-behaved. Marianne is welcome back anytime!
Diane is a wonderful host! The house is as seen in the photos. I was a little bit worried about the street being noisy, but it was a quiet, safe, family-oriented area. There was a Sprouts, Planet Fitness, and Wall-Mart less than a mile or two away. When we stayed, there was a heat wave and her AC kept us nice and cool! We hope to return again.

Kat, her daughter and tiger-striped kitty were a delight to host. They kept me posted about their arrival/departure dates. I didn't see much of them but enjoyed out friendly exchanges. They are welcome back any time!
Property was just what we needed. Diane gave instructions for every thing that we may have had questions for. Plenty of linens, it was clean, the floor was very clean! We could go barefoot and still have clean feet! I mention that because some vrbo homes don’t seem to mop. Well done eclectic decor.

Patsy and her party (Including the dog!) were great guests. They left the house in perfect order and seemed to enjoy their stay. The positive things Patsy pointed out are the very ones that I hope all my guests experience. They are welcome back anytime
This was a perfect place for my mom, who has Alzheimer's, and her caregiver to stay for a week while work was being done on mom's house. Very homey and full of wonderful art including the host's own award winning photography. Diane could not be a better host. I let her know in advance of my mom's condition, and she was super accommodating the whole time, even showing up at 10:30 at night to fix the TV control which my mom had managed to mess up. I am so grateful Diane for your kindness!

Nathan’s mother, her caregiver, and two little dogs were easy and delightful to host. They were friendly the few times that we met (one of which was about the TV control) and left the property in clean and orderly shape. They are welcome back.
Fantastic location, short drive to many local favorites like ASU, Lake Tempe and Old Town. Great backyard with hot tub, out door patio, and the Arizona room (screened in porch). My dog loved the yard and there is a park to walk him only a couple blocks away. We weren't prepared for Diane's studio but we had our own entry, it wasn’t an issue. Diane was able to take care of any problems that arose during our stay in a timely fashion, Thanks.

Kevin and his party were a delight to host. I was happy to hear that Charlie, their little dog, enjoyed himself as well. When they left, I could barely tell that they had spent nearly a month a here - they left the property so clean and orderly. I really appreciated this, especially since I had been hospitalized for much of their stay. They are welcome back any time,
The host, Diane, likes to meet you which I was not used to but we had our own space and a contact-free entry. Diane has filled the house with fun decor and memorabilia. Definitely felt more like someone’s home than a short-term rental which I personally enjoyed. Diane left directions for everything we needed. My favorite part was probably the Arizona room. It was the perfect place to relax and destress with all its twinkle lights and glass art. The backyard was wonderful as well and the hot-tub was a lot of fun. The posting says checkout is at 11a but it’s actually at 10a according to the host. We didn’t have any issues with that but just be aware in case you’re a late sleeper.

Brandi and her party are welcome back any time. They enjoyed the very aspects of my VRBO property that I enjoy (hot tub, Arizona room, backyard).
I'm glad that she pointed out the check-out time. I thought it was listed as 10AM but actually it is 11AM. I always welcome suggestions from my guests on how to improve their experience.
This is a wonderful, homey property. It is close to ASU which made it easy to attend all the graduation activities. The host is great at communicating and responding to any request or needs.

About the host
Hosted by Diane
Before Covid-19, when I was not hosting guests, I was traveling internationally usually solo. In Central America, I studied Spanish and traveled to test my language skills. Southeast Asia stole my heart with its extraordinary natural beauty and fascinating history. Now home, hosting is my newest passion.
Why they chose this property
I love living in Tempe. Yes it's a city, yet doesn't feel overwhelming.
What makes this property unique
I bought this home 20 years ago and love being in Tempe. This has it all: quiet neighborhood, yet close freeways; nearby shopping (grocery stores, department stores), post office, parks, lots of bicycle paths and hiking.
