10/10 Very peaceful place. We had a great time fishing and kayaking. My son had a great time with the fire pit and making s’mores. We will definitely be back.
We loved this property. We love to fish and there is a lot of water frontage. The property is beautiful and we loved the vintage look of the house. We would definitely stay here again.
We had such a great weekend staying here. It was very clean, plenty of room for the kids to run and play. We fished. Cooked out and had a fire. It was a wonderful place to come stay while visiting family.
The property and house is wonderful! My husband and I stayed for 4 days and had the most relaxing time. The house is perfect for the 2 of us but theres plenty of room for more. We will definitely book again in the future!
Loved the location hottub and lake access. would recommend to anyone who just needs a little peace. Loved the fire pit as well. Will definitely come back one day
The hot tub was our favorite. The sun sets over the lake and the stars at night were beautiful. We went during Christmas break and the weather was a little colder than we had hoped for, but it was still a wonderful getaway. I imagine it would also be great for a small family getaway in the summertime when you could get out on the water.
This little house, is an amazing, peaceful, jem of a place with an amazing yard and view!!! 10/10 we will be back to stay again! Thank you Harvey and Angel for sharing this incredible place!!
We had a nice stay at this property and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway by the lake. The views of the water were fantastic, and the large lot gave us plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the outdoors. The fire pit was a favorite spot for our group—there was plenty of seating, and it made for some really nice evenings. We also appreciated the dock, which was perfect for relaxing by the water. The screened-in porch was nice, though it’s on the smaller side, and we found ourselves wishing for more natural light inside the house. The limited lighting made the interior feel a bit dim during the day, which might not be ideal for everyone. Additionally, the kitchen could use a few more supplies—while we made it work, having some extra utensils and cooking items would’ve been a nice touch to enhance the stay. One thing to note: there’s nothing provided for enjoying the water, so we’d recommend being planful and bringing along any items you might need—whether that’s kayaks, paddleboards, or even floaties. This property is a great spot for a short getaway, but for a longer stay, we’d suggest bringing your own boat or jet skis to really take full advantage of the lake. The cottage itself is smaller, so the outdoor amenities are definitely the highlight here.We enjoyed our stay and spent most of our time outside, taking in the peaceful surroundings. If you’re looking for a quiet place to stay for a few days, this property is a solid choice.
My husband and I rented this home for his 60th birthday weekend. We had a lovely time. The house is right on the lake, and we enjoyed fishing and kayaking. It was so peaceful and quiet. We saw several deer.
We will definitely come again!
We had a wonderful time. Relaxing, enjoyed the hot tub, picnic by the lake, fishing were just a few things we did during our stay. We will be differently staying here again.
Place was exactly what our family needed to wind down over fall break. Cozy house, hot tub, fire pit, and a dock for the kids to jump off of. (repeatedly) Quiet part of lake, with everything you could need within a 15 minute drive. Owner was great, and communicated well.
The property was in a perfect spot to get away. We brought our paddle boards and spent most of the days on the lake. It was the perfect little getaway for three moms.
Great stay as always, 2nd time at the lake house. It was great, my only complaint is the hot tub cover is water logged and weighs a couple of hundred pounds. Planning to go back in a few months.
Very relaxing and peaceful stay. Host were wonderful and easy to communicate with. Only thing I would have to say was beds could be updated besides that we all enjoyed ourselves!

Why they chose this property
Upon entry the home you will experience a step back in time that has been tucked away for years. We have kept the home mostly original with exceptions of wifi, new tv's, central H/A and updated bedding. Kick back and relax while looking at the lake in the new hot tub or swing along on the screened in porch.
