About this property

Lake life at its best. Lots of options for activities. Very pet friendly!

Recently renovated home with something for everyone. Especially if you love fishing, the water or wanna bring your canine family too. Fun and eclectic lake house located in a beautiful, large cove. Birds, turtles, and fish all around. Even the occasional beaver or bald eagle. Big dock with power and water. Huge covered back porch with 2 seating areas overlooking the lake. Two master suites with full bath each. The basement is where it gets exciting. Game table, foosball table, a dart board, and a really cool place to hang out after a day on the water.
Feel free to bring your own kayaks, paddle boards and canoes or use one of the 3 paddle boards provided. Please contact owner in advance if you are interested in bringing your own boat. Alabama power lake. Water levels decrease October through March 90min. drive from B’ham, N. ATL and Chattanooga.
Some great local attractions that include: Little River Falls, Desota Falls and State Park, Duke’s Alley Bowling and Easy Street live music, all within a 15-30 minute drive. Also several local food options.
Dog amenities: huge fenced in front yard, doggy swim platform on dock, water bowls, large beds plus metal and soft side crates available.

Lake house was the perfect getaway for the holiday. Had everything we needed. House was clean and the view of the lake is beautiful. We spent most of our time on the spacious porch out back and fishing our hearts out. Owners responded quickly to any questions I had. We will be back to visit again.

This was a very nice clean and very well organized. The master bed was so comfortable. The host had very good communication with us. I do however believe that this house is for younger and more in shape people. The basement was awesome and we enjoyed it very much, it's just that the stairs was a little to much walking, especially if your cooking out. It was also a long walk down stairs to get to the lake. We knew all this coming in tho. We loved our stay very much. We got some much needed rest.

The home was spotless and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need to cook. The basement game room was fun. Most of all this is the most dog friendly home we have ever stayed at. My son’s Golden Retriever had a blast. He enjoyed the fenced in yard, the provided toys and bed, and the ramp into the lake. Thanks for sharing your home!

Great Getaway with our fur baby

This property had everything we needed and I was impressed with how clean it was. All the amenities for our dog Gabby was a definite plus as well. The fenced yard was great as she got to safely roam and explore. The kitchen was well appointed as well as the bathrooms.I also loved the upper deck overlooking the lake. Wonderful view. I’d definitely stay here again.
