This was our second time to stay with Ashley & Brad and they are excellent hosts! The house is immaculate. The beds are super comfy. The location is quiet and peaceful. They have seemingly thought of everything you might need for a vacation at the lake, even stocking it with all the little extras (yummy snacks, special coffee creamer, good toilet paper, fluffy towels, etc.). We will definitely stay here again!

Everything was very clean, and the hosts were amazing! There were so many things to do at the house, including kayaks, canoes, floats, and more. Having a boat launch right at the house was a huge perk. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again!

Best renters ever!!

Me and my wife came here for our honeymoon, we had a blast here. The place was amazing and the owner's are the best I ever experienced. The place was extremely well stocked, clean, a lot of amenities, and an overall wonderful experience.

Absolutely Wonderful Getaway!

Our family (with teens) had such a great time here! Location was perfect and the lake view was even better. The home was beautiful but cozy and had more than we needed! Ashely and Brad thought of everything- from the kayaks to the fishing gear to s’mores😊 There were so many relaxing places to hang out, which made for the perfect getaway!

Relaxing and fully stocked

I have stayed at several homes off of VRBO including Oahu, Nassau and Charleston to name a few , but none have come close to this house having everything I needed at every turn! Great owners!!!

Secluded peace

This was a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the lake. It is a little away from town which was very relaxing. Everything we needed was at hand. I highly recommend this for a vacation

Wonderful lake house and amenities galore!

We really enjoyed our weekend stay at the Cordial Catfish. The house was very clean and stocked with everything you could possibly need and more. Our family really enjoyed the outdoor activities from fishing, to hanging out on the docks, to kayaking. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable.

The Cordial Catfish was awesome

Just a quick fishing get away for me and the hubby. Ashley (& Brad) were just great, provided all the instructions and answered all our questions promptly. They have a lovely lake home with all the goodies you could ever want. We will definitely be back!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this dreamy lake house! The location was breathtaking, right on the serene waters, fulfilling everyone's dream of a lakeside getaway. Great Week!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and very nicely decorated and a great deal of thought and preparation was given to making the house delightful to visit. One thing I would I would recommend are handrails on both sides of the staircase for those who need balance assistance.Host was very responsive and pleasant! We would highly recommend for a getaway!

This property is AMAZING! It has everything you could hope for, and more! Be prepared to be "off the grid" in a peaceful, well-appointed, clean, and absolutely beautiful home, with endless activities - fishing, kayaking, smores-making, swimming, reading, playing games, and just looking out at the beautiful lake! Perfect lake getaway

This was the best stocked vacation rental we’ve ever stayed at. Literally had everything from fishing tackle to an air fryer. Even had stuff for smores. The welcome basket with water and snacks was a nice touch. Perfect property for our family of 5 adults to enjoy. Plenty of room to spread out. Great fishing from both docks and the bank. Would definitely stay here again! Great communication from the host!

Wow! What a place!

This place is phenomenal — Ashley and Brad go above and beyond to provide everything you need. Special touches from snacks to s’mores to fishing gear and more! The home is a gem. Plenty of things to do for my 4 year old too! We had a wonderful weekend celebrating my husband’s 40th and hope to return one day. Thank you!!!

Beautiful property! Ashley and Brad are the best!

This is a beautiful property. It was private and peaceful with lots of space and 2 separate docks for fishing on the lake. Ashley and Brad have really thought of everything! There are games and activities for the whole family - equipment for kayaking, fishing, roasting marshmallows or just generally enjoying some outdoor time. Ashley responded quickly to any questions and helped provide suggestions for nearby sights and hiking trails. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay!

Fall Break Getaway

This was a beautiful house and a wonderful location right on the lake, plenty of room to accommodate a family of five. The house had everything you could ask for, fully furnished with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. The big screen downstairs was the perfect way to watch college football on Saturday. The kayaks were a huge hit with the kids. The dock was nice and we spent a lot of our time fishing, swimming and kayaking. The host communication was awesome and we will definitely plan to visit again.

OUTSTANDING!!

We have stayed at Weiss Lake several times. Ashley and Brad’s place is by far the best rental we have ever booked. They have thought of every amenity, and their communication is excellent! Their place is clean, comfortable (beds as well as other furniture), well stocked, and beautifully decorated with some of the best views on the lake. It is just secluded enough without being too far from civilization. We stayed for an entire week at the height of summer and saw very little lake traffic. It was peaceful and restful…just what we all needed. We can’t wait to return!

Best Rental on Weis Lake

When I tell you this place has everything, I mean EVERYTHING!! I have rented 7 houses on Weis and this one beats them all! We will definitely be back!! Our son had plenty of games to play, kayaks, canoes, life jackets of all sizes!! Great fishing. House was clean and beds were all comfortable. The Hot tub and fire pit (they supply the wood) was also great!! You have the whole point to yourself and the sweetest little dogs (our son also loved) Gumbo and Dixie <3

Will return!!!

This was one of my favorite rentals so far! Extremely well stocked and decorated. We had a blast kayaking, fishing, and swimming. Ashley was very easy to get in touch with and was very responsive and prompt. We hope to return again in the future. A good tip – you are going to be at least 15 to 20 minutes from any sort of store so make sure you have everything before you get out there!
