Our stay was very nice and relaxing. The container is a great place to stay off the grid a little bit. It was very clean and accommodating. Summersville lake was also beautiful. Definitely would stay here again.
Very nice place to stay for the weekend.
Everything was as advertised in the description.

Loved this little property. Good location once you find it with latitude/longitude. Hot tub was amazing, bedroom is a little crampt but functional! Would totally recommend to others!
My husband and sons spent the weekend at this beautiful property. It’s the perfect place to unplug and get away surrounded by woods and had all the amenities you need. We will definitely be back.
Had a wonderful weekend. Cabin met our needs with the small footprint. It had everything we needed to have a great stay. Nice and private outdoor space. Will recommend to friends. I always like to walk into a clean place. Thanks for a lovely stay.
Hosts were responsive, location was about 15 min drive from everything which was nice. Very clean, well stocked. Water pressure was a little low but overall very satisfied
We enjoyed our stay! I loved all the little attention to details. The property had everything thing we needed. The owner communicated well with me. She answered all my questions. I would stay here again.

We would love to host you again! Enjoy the rest of your summer and follow along on social media as we build more container cabins!
This was a really cool alternative cabin experience. The kids loved the indoor/outdoor seating with the big window open, and the fire pit area with drink and phone holders was nice as well. Everything was clean and very comfortable. We also liked the modern interior design. Would definitely come back!
We stayed here for our 10-year anniversary. It is secluded and they absolutely thought of everything at this property.
The only downside is that cell service and Wifi is very spotty, but if you dont need to use your phone/watch TV- then it doesn't matter.
We really enjoyed our time at this rental.

This tiny container was a super place in West Virginia to stay. It was close to summersville lake and food, also new river and rafting. It was so nice to have a fire pit and a hot tub. The inside was spacious and very clean!! We would definitely recommend!! The drive way is a little steep but we have a Subaru so no problems!!

Hi Sharon,
Weather can weaken the wifi signal but we hope you were able to supplement internet time with plenty of outdoor fun. As for the damp feeling, being in the woods may lead to windows dewing in the morning on the outside or after rain, so unless windows are left open around these times, it’s air and water tight, as are all shipping containers and has not been a concern otherwise. We hope you found your stay enjoyable.
We really love this VRBO, our family of 4 have been here twice and it doesn't disappoint! Our kids love the bunk beds and hot tub, and told scary stories around the fire pit. It is a nice location to reach our favorite hiking trails, and also access to salmon run where we visit some really cool swimming spots off of salmon run point trail. The long point grill was also a great spot our hosts recommended to stop for lunch.
We are adventurers, travelers and lovers of good food, drinks and the great outdoors!
Why they chose this property
Our goal with McFadden Ridge is not to strike gold and celebrate fortune. It’s to have an opportunity to share what we love with others.
What makes this property unique
Container homes offer homeowners an eco-friendly option. Our container home was built with a recycled shipping container. Every time a shipping container is recycled and upcycled, we are repurposing around 3,500KG of steel!
