THE LONGUEVALLERIE COTTAGE: AN ODE TO NATURE
It is an annex to a former 16th-century farmhouse overlooking the Saire Valley
in Le Vast.

The location is exceptional, and the private property extends all the way to the edge of a river—actually a river, since it flows into the nearby sea.
The view is breathtaking, and no houses or infrastructure are visible from the cottage’s terrace. It’s a magical setting that captivated Roman Polanski; in 1979, he came here to shoot several scenes for his famous film “Tess ”

The picturesque ports of Barfleur and Saint-Vaast-La Hougue are at

Major shops are nearby in Quettehou or Saint-Pierre-Eglise.
There are two renowned bakeries in the village, one of which is 150 metres away.

The cottage, fully renovated in 2023, features three double bedrooms, a bathroom, and a separate toilet on the upper floor. On the ground floor, there is an entryway, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room opening onto the kitchen, a room known as the “small living room,”
a bathroom, and a laundry room.
