Getting the parking pass was a breeze. The unit was exactly as described. The half bathroom downstairs was a great perk when you have 5 people! The complex was very relaxing. I wish the pool stayed open later than 8:30pm. The unit was great. Very roomy. Had everything we needed.

The rental was kept very nice easy access to the ocean just a short walk from the rental. They also provide a pass, which gives you access to national parks and beaches. There is a national park just a short drive from the rental and if sand is not for you they also have a pool perfect for adults and children.

Beach time..

Loved the view and the home was in great location.home was clean and had all but a hand mixer.. I would say that it need more eating utensils.The stairs were a bit steep for an 83yr old but it was a great place to stay

Best Stay at Harbor Island

This property was amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed the surprising spaciousness of the unit. Comfortable beds, and wonderful view from the deck. Overall it was truly an awesome week and actually the best we have spent in Harbor Island. Also, the ladies at the property management office were very amenable and easy to work with. They got us into the property early since we had a toddler with us. Thank you especially to Rosa for that help to us. Thank you very much!.

It was okay with a couple of exceptions

On the plus - if tv is your desire there are...Plenty of large screen tvs...and a well equipped kitchen..alas however every expense was spared on linens. Polyester sheets - so sweaty and a grab bag of towels and not many of them.Nice deck - lovely - the door handle was broken but maintenance came really quickly and fixed it - kudos to them! We will stay again, but will take our own sheets and towels with us.

It was ok

This house was ok. We reported a refrigerator leak and a maintenance guy did come out but it was never fixed. The light above kitchen table works when it wants to. Couch was very itchy, bed sheets were so old and itchy I had to sleep on a blanket. There was hair in the showers. Handle was broke on the sliding door to the deck. This could be a really cute place but definitely needs some upgrades and improvements. I wouldn’t stay at this particular place again.

We are sorry for the issues with the property during your stay. We were under the impression the refrigerator was repaired after the appliance company came out as we did not hear back from you. Following us receiving this review we had the appliance company go back out and they adjusted the cool settings. We have addressed the cleanliness issues with housekeeping and repaired the sliding door handle. We hope you will consider our property in the future.

location was awesome and the house was just amazing. very nicely furnished with tons of beach equipment to use that wasnt even listed on the listing. 3 min walk to the water from the front door and the opportunity to maybe see a turtle was great too.

Definitely the harbor, not the ocean.

During low tide (starts around noon) the water recedes very far out. Not great. It wasn't until 4pm or so before the water came back. Shallow swimming, good for wading but that's about it. The property had several broken items but mgmt was quick to send someone. The short walk to the beach was nice.

Great location, but not whatI expected

The property is in a great location and very quiet. (2 big +'s) But here was the downside: the place was not swept, food crumbs on the dining chairs, and the living room furniture was sweat-stained. There was a note from the managing company not to turn the air conditioning down below 72. Luckily, I brought a fan and that made the air conditioning circulate, on its own it was not very effective. The builders built this place using very cheap materials - too bad, because the location is so great. The views of the marshes and the beaches beyond were beautiful and the daily walks on the beach were perfect.

Thanks for providing feedback on the villa. We have talked with the housekeepers about doing a more thorough clean and disinfecting surfaces between each rental. We have new living room furniture ordered but due to supply chain issue it will not arrive until December of January of 2022.

relaxing retreat

This was the perfect space for us to do intensive online educational training. If you have to do school work, it is wonderful to have such a lovely view and to be steps away from the ocean. This was more than adequate for our needs and we were very comfortable. The management was quick to address any concerns we had. We felt safe and secure and had a wonderful stay. I would definitely return again!
