Beautiful, well equipped home on a completely quiet hilltop accessed through acres of mature woods with a view of Lake Michigan. Such a peaceful place to spend time, and just minutes from the town of Northport.

It stands up for its name

One of, if not the best retreats we have stayed in. Breathtaking, peaceful and has a vintage feel.

Hilltop Paradise! Situated on a hilltop overlooking Lake Michigan, guests are refreshed after a day at local beaches with cooling breezes, solitude, and a canvas of spectacular sunsets. Lounge chairs and tables are plentiful on the lawn and provide a comfy place for snacks, drinks, or stargazing. The house is lovely and immaculately clean with a kitchen fully stocked with cookware, cutlery, glassware, and dishes. The beds are comfortable and the soaking tub divine. The house is conveniently located between Leelanau State Park and Northport. Leelanau Park has walking trails and a sandy beach. Don't miss Christmas Cover or Peterson Park. Northport has several fun restaurants and shops. There's a kayak and paddleboard rental shop that will deliver equipment to Northport's municipal beaches. Suttons Bay is an easy drive. There are also some excellent wineries nearby, including BluStone. The hosts are delightful, responsive, and informative. We recommend this property.

Michigan Magic

This amazing property puts us near other Leelanau treats, as well as keeping us happy if we don't leave the premises all day long.

We had a great time. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. The location felt secluded but was close to grocery stores and wineries. Gorgeous sunsets. Comfortable beds. We did open windows at night to let cooler air in.

Wonderful stay in UP Michigan

Cozy and very clean property with great view. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Very nice and helpful hosts. We really enjoyed sitting under the starry night skies by the bonfire, looking at the Milky Way for a long time, appreciating the splendors of nature. One of the best properties we've ever stayed. Thank you!

Beautiful property and location.

The property and location is beautiful-even more scenic in person with a special view of the lake from the hilltop. The location is also great to get to Northport in 5 minutes and explore the area easily while having a more remote setting. The property is well stocked with everything you need and the hosts/owners were very helpful and responsive. There is AC in the bedrooms that helped but it can get a bit warm overall on hotter days. Great for a family vacation in northern Michigan. The firepit and sunsets at night were very special!

There's a reason we keep coming back

My family has visited this house multiple times. It's just far enough out of town that you have wonderful seclusion and privacy, but only about 5 minutes to the closest grocery store. The sunsets are SPECTACULAR. The house has everything you could want or need. The only small drawback is that there isn't cell service out there, but they do have internet and you can connect to the wifi to make calls. This is one of my favorite homes in which we have stayed on VRBO, hands down. The hosts are GREAT and very responsive. Looking forward to our annual return already!

This is a beautiful property with a beautiful view. Very quiet with lots of nature and stunning sunsets. The host provided great information about area attractions. Very close to Christmas Cove, Leland, Suttons Bay and lovely Northport. We would definitely rent this property again when we're back in the area.

Wonderful Stay In Northport area

This place was AMAZING. The sunsets were breathtaking. The hosts were super great people who went out of their way to help us with any little need. The house has ANYTHING you need, and it is very well laid out. The knives were sharp, the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and anything you'd need to make a nice meal. But the key to this place is the views. Truly, a wonderful place. We look forward to returning next year!
