A stylish comfortable apartment in a great area!

Our 3 night stay in the apartment was amazing - a really comfy place to return to after our 3 days sightseeing, shopping, and lots of walking! We enjoyed meals at a local restaurant Le Hangar and would highly recommend a meal there. Everything we needed for a long weekend was on our doorstep, and we enjoyed returning there after seeing lots of sights we had not previously visited - the view from the Montparnasse tower, and the Arc de Triumphe, and the Rodin museum was spectacular. Many thanks to Maxine and Benjamin for their hospitality- merci beaucoup!

Well situated and very comfortable apartment in quiet neighbourhood

We were a party of three and we all found the apartment to be very comfortable, clean and well appointed. We were a little early for check-in as our flight landed early, but Benjamin was already there and ready to greet us and show us around. The apartment is very stylishly finished and there is plenty of storage space. The kitchen had everything you need for a few days, and it is always useful for things such as oil, sugar, coffee etc to be ready in the kitchen for you to use until you get sorted out after you arrive. The balcony is a welcome outside space to sit quietly on an evening. The bathroom and in particular the shower was great. The wi-fi was usually very good. we did have a problem with it on our final evening, but Benjamin helped us out with sorting out the problem. From the apartment it is really easy to get around either on foot or we used the metro when going a little farther afield such as the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe or Sacre Coeur. The choice of food in the nearby area is very good. We favoured the G20 supermarket of the ones we tried as the choice and price was most favourable. We found a little boulangerie just around the corner from G20 which we went to almost every day as everything they had was so good!

Nice little place in a good location

This is a nice clean apartment within walking distance of Notre Dame. We enjoyed our stay (and our trip). The location is good with many shops and restaurants nearby. We would happily stay here again. I just have one suggestion for the owner. We travel frequently. In most places where we have stayed, the owners use a keysafe to leave the key safely for us. I appreciate that our flight arrived quite late, and the owner had to arrange for someone to let us in. 40 euros still felt quite a lot. I think you can buy and install a keysafe for that amount, which will save the owner and the traveller a lot of hassle in future.

Great apartment in a fantastic location

We are a family of 4 (with 2 girls aged 11 and 5) and we stayed in the apartment for 4 nights. We arrived about an hour later than intended due to delays leaving Disneyland and then having to re-plan our route due to closures on the Metro system. For anyone travelling in the near future, we recommend checking which stations are closed - we intended to arrive at Rambuteau but had to get off at Arts et Metiers (not much further but needed to orientate ourselves). We were met by Benjamin on arrival who showed us around, including how to use the washing machine (which we did) and the dishwasher, coffee machine and TV (which we didn't). The apartment is quite spacious for central Paris and is clean and nicely decorated. And the most impressive thing is just how quiet the apartment is given how close it is to some main roads. The separate bedroom has sliding doors which meant our youngest could get to sleep whilst the rest of us stayed up - we just carried her to the sofa bed in the main room when we went to sleep. Bed was comfortable (though the frame is wider than the mattress and we banged our toes a couple of times before getting used to it!) and the kids slept well on the sofa bed. The kitchen has everything needed and the bathroom was good, a powerful shower. Only downside is that the apartment gets very warm but the owner has provided 2 electric fans which help. There are also electric shutters if you like it darker but we didn't find them necessary. The apartment is a short walk from Chatelet Les Halles which connects to most places. The apartment is also brilliantly located for the range of cafe's, restaurants and shops around the Pompidou Centre so there's tonnes of places to eat out or get supplies. The owner really helpfully provided a map of the area with a few shops and places of interest marked up - we went to the boulangerie across the road for pastries each morning which were brilliant. It's roughly a 10-15 minute walk to the river and Notre Dame in one direction and to Louvre in another. We would definitely recommend the apartment for couples or families of four.
