This location cannot be beat. Super spot. The apartment was clean and the host allowed us to drop our luggage early which was super helpful. Beware of the flights of stairs, but otherwise the flat was great. Wifi was fast, the Nespresso helpful.

The apartment is lovely. Great light, layout and condition. It was a great place to stay and the location is also fantastic. It was pretty comfortable in the apartment despite it being over 90 degrees outside. Matt was very responsive when I was figuring out how to access the apartment. I would note that this unit is on the 6th floor without an elevator, and through a small passage way to the rear of the building. I would absolutely stay there again, it's just something to consider.

Lovely Parisian apartment in good location

We had a wonderful stay, this little apartment was perfect for the 3 of us. Matt the owner was very helpful & solved the couple of issues we had quickly & in one case provide a discount due to inconvenience at not being able to resolve before we arrived. Please note the apartment is up 4 flights of circular staircase so not for the faint hearted! This didn’t bother us & it was a lovely place to return to after a long day of sightseeing. The location is pretty central & easy to get to all the main attractions quickly on the metro that is 5 mins walk away. I’d very much recommend.

Fabulous stay

We had an absolutely fabulous stay in this apartment! The space is beautiful and bright and spotlessly clean. We were in Paris at the end of June and even though it was hot (87 F) the apartment was breezy and there were nice fans that helped keep us cool while sleeping. AC is hard to come by in paris but the big windows let lots of breeze through. It is a lovely neighborhood and we felt compleletly safe to let our 13year old twins walk to the canal to buy ice cream. We loved evening strolls along the canal only a half block away. The German restaurant just outside the main door was super good and friendly. It is quite a feat to walk up to 4th floor but if you belong to a gym you'll have no problem. The closest metro stop is La Republique and there are great bistros and a great Thai place near there. Get a 30 euro metro weekly pass if you're staying a few days. It makes it so easy to get everywhere and is a good deal. You just need to buy it at the airport and place a photo on it. Otherwise we found the metro ticketing confusing. The beds were really comfortable and soft but firm. Plenty of pillows and bedding. We slept well it is a quiet apartment away from any main street noise. Only 30 minutes from Louvre and Eiffel Tower by metro. Be careful the shower head fell the first time we tried to use it. The washing machine worked great! Just keep in mind it is a bit loud and takes quite a long time so run it during the day when you're out. We loved this place and would return
