Danielle and Dan were awesome hosts! We couldn't have asked for better communication or a better spot for our family stay. They met us at check-in to make sure we had everything we needed and all our questions were covered. They were available for us the whole time, and to top it off, they even shipped back something we left behind after we left town. The place had tons of room, and being right on the lake with a great beach, dock and in close proximity to downtown and places to go on the lake gave us plenty to do.
We absolutely loved staying in this adorable lake house. This home offered something for everyone in our family ages 5 - 78! Kayaking, swimming, paddle board, board games, ping pong, foosball, the list goes on and on. We only needed to leave the house to grocery shop. The picnic tables and umbrellas allowed shade and the option for us to eat most of our meals outside. We enjoyed family time and s'mores around the fire pit in the evenings. The home was very clean and comfortable with AC, quality towels and sheets. Our only suggestion would be to add a handrail to make entering and exiting the home easier, especially for older adults and young children. We hope to return next year!
We had the most amazing week at Jamieson Pines. It was a lovely and spacious lakefront property that was also so close to restaurants, shopping and downtown Bridgton. We also found this to be a nice private space on the lake with an awesome outside setup. The kids did not want to get out of the water and we had a campfire nearly every night. Amazing hosts and hopefully we will be back in following years!
We had a fantastic stay at Danielle and Dan’s place. The lakefront setting is amazing and for someone like me who likes to swim, the lake was clear, clean and with a sandy bottom. The addition of the swim float was a plus. The house is comfortable and roomy with more than enough space for the five of us. We put the fire pit to good use. We discovered Fluvial Brewing about 20 minutes away; great beer and a beautiful setting. Further afield is Taber’s mini golf in Auburn; probably the best mini golf we’ve found anywhere. The flea market in Mechanic Falls was fun. Stop at Kindred Farms Market and Bakery in Casco. Excellent panini and brownies. We also loved the Magic Lantern movie theatre downtown. You can even have a cocktail in the balcony if you’re so inclined. All in all, a great trip.
We loved everything about this property. It was tastefully decorated, spacious and fully equipped with everything we needed. Surrounded by water yet only 5 min away to restaurants and grocery stores. We would love to stay here again.
We LOVED this property! Gradual slope sandy beach, dock for a boat and moorings, beautiful fire pit, plenty of space for the whole family. Water toys ping pong and kayaks all available. House and kitchen fully stocked with everything you would need, very baby friendly space. Hosts were wonderful, we can't say enough good things about this place. Will definitely be going back!
It’s the perfect spot on a beautiful lake with crystal clear waters. A private clean sandy beach awaits with shallow grading that gives parents the right comfort when the kids go in. Between the house and beach is the greenest, thickest lawn on the peninsula with plenty of sitting and tanning all around. The dock with that cute bench was where my parents would have their relaxing early morning tea. I personally loved more sprinting through and jumping off into the water. Sometimes the kids would follow. The fire pit area and plenty of wood to go made memorable nights. The owners are by far the warmest, kindest and most professional people you can hope for when looking for a no-worries vacation. The house is filled with tasteful furniture and honestly to us felt a drop away from walking into a spa chalet. The bonus area (garage and loft that the kids termed our clubhouse) was perfect for a break out of the sun, gaming and family pizza and movie night with style! You’ll find almost everything you need already there. From 7 various kayaks (including for kids) with all ancillary equipment through the cocktail cabinet, cooking and serving equipment to board games and plenty of towels. Anywhere we opened a cabinet there was another pleasant surprise. The internet connection allowed three of us in parallel to have video meetings which was a relief. Kids used the office while I worked from the loft so everyone had their space. Finally, there’s a downtown about 5 minutes drive away with a supermarket with preorder and outside pickup. This place is now officially on our family vacation destinations and totally worth the 7 hours drive it takes us to get there. Looking forward to the next visit!
This location allowed a very peaceful and relaxing vacations. Water views are top notch and all the outside seating gives lots of options. The games in garage have hours of fun ping pong games. Rented a pontoon which allowed us to see the entire lake. Inside touch were very nice and a special welcome package was sweet. Highly recommend this location for family or multiple family/couples. Thanks Danielle and Dan
An enjoyable lakefront property with many amenities and all the comforts of home. Very peaceful and quiet location. The hosts Danielle and Dan were welcoming and accommodating. We had a great vacation and are looking forward to visiting again.
After over 50 years of family vacationing spent on Long Lake, our stay at Jamieson Pines was one of the most memorable. The home is beautiful, with noticeably well-kept property grounds and impeccable cleanliness, inside and out. The property owners are friendly and welcoming— truly conscientious and attentive of their guests, preparing their home for such an enjoyable stay. From the ease of booking, to the pleasant interactions with the property owners before and during our stay, it was a wonderful experience. We are so grateful for the opportunity to have stayed at this home, and look forward to booking here many times more in the future.
