The description and pictures are 100% accurate. The house was very clean, fully stocked kitchen. Very clean and cozy and the view of the water can't be beat. It is an easy drive into Florence to get to the mall, shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!
Clean, roomy, well-appointed house on a quiet end of a cove. The lay out was perfect for my family. Nice kitchen. Beautiful views This house has everything needed for making family memories.
Boys outing for bachelor wedding trip, fishing and kayaking. This place is really great and water front area is just right. Views are nice from living room area. Nothing to complain about.
The kitchen was not stocked very well. We cooked every night while there and struggled to have all the right utensils we needed. Most were just cheaper items that just didn’t last long. Additionally, we were left with three dish washing tablets, making washing dishes and staying up with dish washing quite a hassle towards the end of the trip. We didn’t have hardly any paper towels so we had to go and stock up on a lot of essentials. Additionally, the water pressure was sub par. It was very difficult to get all the shampoo out of hair.Other than those things, it was an enjoyable stay.
The house was terrific and the view of the lake was great. The three upstairs bedrooms met are needs. Living room had plenty of seating for all of us to sit around and visit. Location was really good and easy to get to restaurants in Florence or Muscle Shoals. Definitely would stay here again.
We loved our stay! The house was very clean, modern and had the most amazing view! We were in town for Shoals Fest so we didn't spend as much time at the house as we would have on a regular lake trip but I would certainly come back and rent Magnolia at the Shoals again for a family trip or relaxing girls weekend.
Lovely home, beautiful views and easy to get around. The beds were very comfy. The room with the bunk beds was great for the kids although very cold with it being winter. Otherwise it was a great place that we will consider staying in again.
Our family group of 10 had an amazing time at this lake house. Two of the boys (9 & 13) spent their time fishing off the pier and caught a huge catfish and bream!
Grandad took all the grandkids for boat rides on the Big Mabel, and the water was great! We watched the early morning mist rise off the water, and roasted marshmallows for s'mores on the firepit at night. The weather was perfect, and we even saw a huge, beautiful eagle on the property. The views were spectacular! We will definitely be back. Thank you so much for letting us stay.
The accomodations were great. Place is beautiful, nice deck overlooking the lake, nice dock area for fishing or swimming from, and had a fire pit we enjoyed for S’mores.
I didn’t need to call manager, but he communicated via text I sent .
The a/c made a noise when it came on. Might need to check on it.
It was a wonderful
Place to relax. We will definitely consider it again.
Our stay was wonderful. We had 3 families and the space worked out great! The kids stayed in the bunk room and loved their outside access. The open floor plan created the perfect space for football and family. The front entry made it easy to unload and there was plenty of parking even with the boat trailer. The fireplace area was used nightly and we made some wonderful memories. The slough and boat dock made for extremely easy access to the river and the location of the property is a short drive to to Florence and there was tons to do! I highly recommend the nature trails and visiting Wilson dam waterfalls! Thanks for a great and memorable trip!
So I rolled two trips back to back. The first trip was my family including my two nephews, ages 8 and 13, along with my parents, my sister and brother-in-law. Two days of alone time and then girlfriends came in from out of state. The House is perfect for all of the above. It's not a huge footprint but excellent use of space. Great open spaces and deck! We had very few issues and when we did, Jeff (one of the owners) came over and took care of the door knob that flew off! I highly recommend the house, location, property manager and owner so check it out!
Nice but overpriced given fireplace not useable, minimal cook pots, small sq. footage, nice view of lake. Would not pay rate and fees for space and indoor furnishings and amenities. Have rented many vrbo’s. Given average in ad, we paid top end of average with no events, off season.
The home and view of the water is simply beautiful. The owners communicated very quickly with any questions we had. We were on a working vacation and because of the business I'm in, it requires strong internet, which the home did not have. But I should have asked prior to renting it. That was my only issue with the rental. The internet is ok for checking email and doing things like Facebook, but anything more that, it struggles. But overall, a great place and great owners as well! Very happy and plan on doing it again in the spring!
The host is very generous with closet and dresser space as well as the refrigerator and freezer. House was very clean and the setting was peaceful. I took a quick swim in the river and read later that the Tennessee River is polluted. Nothing the owner can do about that. Still, it was a very nice setting. And it was convenient to the sound studios, good restaurants while being secluded and spacious. We enjoyed sitting on the large deck. Only complaint is that we struggled to open wine bottles without a proper corkscrew and, once opened, used coffee mugs as no wine glasses were provided. They now have a corkscrew that we left there. Our trip to Muscle Shoals was a once in a lifetime trip, but if we did go back, I would want to book the same location.

Things for a better stay
Just a few things that would have made the stay better. We had reservations for 10 and there were only 6 towels. Had to go purchase towels and wash clothes. There were only 2 trash bags. Doesn’t take long to fill with a group. Beds were low quality and wore out.
