This charming lakefront home offers panoramic water views, a spacious patio, and direct walk-out access to the pier with no steps to the waterfront. Thoughtfully designed for comfort and gathering, the home features a fully stocked kitchen, inviting living spaces, and a main-level master bedroom—perfect for families or groups looking to relax, reconnect, and enjoy peaceful lake living.

- Sleeps 10 guests

- 5 beds / 3 bathrooms

- Main-level master bedroom with king bed

- Two upstairs bedrooms, each with two queen beds and a TV, plus their own bathrooms.

- No steps to the waterfront (guests walk across the yard from the patio)

- Private pier with direct lake access

- Guests may bring their own paddle boards, floaties, fishing gear, and safety vests

- Fire pit and spacious patio with lake views

- Fully stocked kitchen and dining area for group meals

- High-speed Wi-Fi and TVs throughout

- Parking is limited to 5 vehicles.

- No events or large gatherings permitted, neighbors are on either side of the property, and quiet hours are important. No loud music etc.

Happy holiday stay.

This house worked great for 2 couples and a single sister. Very convenient location with a beautiful view of the river. Plenty of space and all dishes we needed in the kitchen for holiday cooking. Extra great having a washer and dryer and Keurig coffee maker.Host was a great communicator.

Golfing Vacation

The Grassy Knoll has an amazing & very tranquil view of Wilson Lake, with picturesque sun rise & sun sets! The home is very spacious & accommodating! The bedding gets an "A+", from the comforter, to the linens, mattress & pillows! Very comfy! Kitchen well stocked for cooking in! Perfect location for our week of golfing! Also, just a short distance to Florence AL for all your dining & shopping needs! Would definitely stay again!

Annual Girl's Trip

We enjoyed our 3 night stay. The venue was beautiful as well as very comfortable. Our group consisted of 4 senior adult ladies and we all felt very safe. It was conveniently located for all the area attractions on our to see list. We took everything we needed, but if we had forgotten an item, I'm sure it was available because the house was very well stocked.

Great stay!

We loved this home! We had family ranging from 70 yrs to 7 years and all were very well accommodated. The bedrooms were spacious & each had a sitting area with TV that allowed for a little privacy when needed. The kitchen was very well stocked with pans, dishes, etc, making it so easy to make meals (which we did). And..the view is amazing! We’ll certainly stay again when we’re back in the area and would highly recommend.

Fabulous

After our other accommodations were canceled last minute Shannon and this fabulous house came to the rescue! Everything about it was wonderful! The house was perfect for three couples, with a three bedrooms and separate baths, fully stocked kitchen, and the wonderful patio. The views were amazing! We will definitely be back!

Dixieland Tour - Heron Cottage

Heron cottage offered a delightful respite during our 2 week deep south Dixieland tour. Perched upon the banks of the Tennessee River, the house provides fantastic water views of the lake. The décor is modern, cheerful and very clean. The house boasts 3 huge, lovely & comfortable bedrooms, each with its own bath and TV (easy and consistent internet also). The kitchen was well stocked with all the items needed for meal preparation. The location is so convenient to visit all 4 cites of the lovely Shoals area. We loved the extra attention to the small details such as the cozy Christmas decorations. Even more, we are so grateful to Shannon who accommodate a sudden change in travels plans by allowing us to come one day earlier. Thank you!!!!! We look forward to returning to your wonderful home!
