Casa Garvey is a beautiful casita in an idyllic setting. Twelve minutes from the Santa Fe Plaza, both far enough yet near enough to the city to be just perfect, set in an attractive development of the Tesuque foothills two miles above Tesuque Village, ten minutes from the Santa Fe Opera. Across from the entrance to the development is the Four Seasons Luxury Resort, Rancho Encantado. The casita has the charm of the classic Santa Fe style, with transformed kitchen and baths. It's wonderfully comfortable in all seasons, with delightful patios to enjoy in the warmer months and Kiva coziness when the weather turns cooler. From the spacious patio take in the gorgeous views of the high desert hills and beautiful mountains. Santa Fe Baldy is in view, and an incredible nighttime sky. Beauty and serenity abound while being minutes away from restaurants, galleries, shopping, and plenty of outdoor activities.

Location was great right across from the Four Seasons and in a community that takes in the natural beauty of its surroundings. Loved the southwestern decor and quiet clean ambiance. Just what we needed!! A mother/daughter weekend!Loved the views and amenities. Our hikes at Kasha Katuwe National Monument, trailheads near Ski Santa Fe and very close to the Vrbo were great. Driving to the square was an easy 15 minute drive and the parking garage there was an easy maneuver!

This is the third time we’ve visited Santa Fe. Thoroughly enjoyed this visit. A break from the heat back home. This home away from home had it all. Well equipped, very comfortable, close enough to town but also far enough away from the hustle bustle. Tim was very comfortable to work with throughout the reservation process and stay.

A beautiful to stay

The home outside offers great views and peaceful places to sit to enjoy them. Inside is clean and comfortable. We enjoyed being out in a great open space where we also had easy access to Santa Fe. The owner responded to every question in a prompt, helpful, and caring way.

Wonderful condo, better than the pictures! This condo is very peaceful, with beautiful views. Very comfortable inside as well. The host has outfitted the condo with everything you might want or need. My wife and I loved our short 3 day visit!

Nestled in the beautiful New Mexico country-side and just fifteen minutes from the Santa Fe Plaza – truly the best of both worlds. This property is very well furnished and has all the amenities you would need for a visit of a few days or an extended stay. Easy access, very nicely decorated, close, on-property parking, gathering areas both inside and out, two kiva-style fireplaces inside, an outside wood burning chiminea, and much more. The home was lovely and the host was super helpful with recommendations. The location was amazing! Close enough to Santa Fe to go into town for anything you needed but far enough away to provide privacy and beautiful vistas. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location and residence

Only 10-15 minutes from downtown Santa Fe, this location is convenient to town but feels like you're far into the countryside. Love the house, the patio, the kitchen, the living areas, etc. We will visit again.

Love to travel and really appreciate a well appointed space. If you aren't using our place and we are vacationing its either here or in Utah Skiing. Our primary residence is Dallas Texas where Karen is in healthcare and Tim designs and builds luxury homes.

Why they chose this property

We rented this unit in November of 2020 and fell in love with the unit and the area. Very convenient from either Santa Fe or Albuquerque airports to fly and an easy drive from surrounding states .

What makes this property unique

A previous owner did a complete remodel to what was a good floorplan and made it even better for short stays . The bathrooms are larger and now have heated floors as well as baseboard heaters. We use the home frequently and are constantly looking to improve it. We have quite a few regular guests that we see once or twice every year and really enjoy the communication with them. After booking, I’m very easy to get a hold of by telephone or email. Happy to answer questions about the unit or the area. We have guests we talk to daily about the area and some guests keep to themselves.We are fine either way as long as our guests are happy
