Pleasant space for holiday family group

Convenient location and plenty of space for our extended family to stay while visiting for the holidays. Much more relaxed and friendly and economical than multiple hotel rooms.Host communicated as needed and check-in/check-out was simple.

Buddies Golf Trip on Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail

Nice home located in a nice quiet neighborhood. Convenient location to local golf courses, restuarants and only 20 minutes to the airport. The four bedrooms and three baths were perfect for four guys. We would definitely stay there again the next time we came to play golf in Birmingham.

A perfect home!

This home is wonderful for family get-togethers! The neighborhood is quiet and extremely peaceful ~ coffee on the back deck with the sounds of the birds cannot be adequately described. The home has everything you need to bake or cook as well. An all-around wonderful destination.

Plenty of room and great location

We stayed in the home for three weeks while we were in between moves. We are two adults, 4 teens and a dog. The house provided plenty of room for us to spread out and not feel like we were right on top of each other. The owner responded to our questions and was a gracious host.

Family vist

I am not going to lie; we were taken aback by the nostalgia of the house. Everything was very clean and fun to imagine a story about the rooms of the house. We appreciated the neighborhood, and that is what sold us. My family had a great time here; I do, however, think a few touch ups would be nice. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home.

Easy to find, conveniently located, plenty of space! This is a very comfortable home with space to spread out and have personal space. If you are looking for a home with updates and newer amenities, this isn’t it, but you aren’t lacking anything you would expect to have! Nestled in a quiet, lovely neighborhood, you’re still close to every single thing you could want or need just out on the closest main road.Check-in was easy and check out was manageable for an early morning departure. Definitely recommend.

Excellent home for traveling with my aging mother

Our family enjoyed this home and it was a great layout for us and my mom who is getting around ok, but the ramp and main level bedroom was helpful. The floors are quite squeaky so for the early risers trying to be quiet it was a challenge. The house is so well stocked and comfortable though. It really had everything we needed for a great time with family in Birmingham. Also a bonus was the quiet neighborhood for long walks!

Our stay had several issues that made the property feel poorly maintained. There was a noticeable moldy odor throughout the house, several windows were broken or not properly sealed, and some lights did not work. The kitchen contained old, worn sponges that should have been replaced before our arrival. We were also concerned that there was only one smoke detector in the home. In addition, the towels provided were old and stained. The property has potential, but it would benefit from better maintenance and attention to cleanliness and safety. After attempting to contact the host regarding some of the issues, it was only after asked what needed to be done prior to departure that a response was received (about 13 hours). A small refund was given for our inconveniences, which was appreciated, but did not make up for the poor maintenance of the home.

Meredith, Thanks very much for pointing out the missing fire alarm, we were not aware of that and have installed a new one already. As I had previously told explained, we have had an issue in getting someone out to replace the malfunctioning windows but that is being scheduled. We hope it was not too disruptive for your visit. We sent the unsolicited refund because its important to us that our guests are happy with their stay. Safe travels.
