Located in Springfield, this holiday home is in the city centre. Discovery Center of Springfield and Perry Tennis Center are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those in the mood for shopping can visit Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World and Battlefield Mall. Wonders of Wildlife Museum & Aquarium and Springfield Cardinals are also worth visiting.
Great spot for a big group. We were in for an alumni reunion, and it felt like we were right back in our house from 30 years ago. Great location to campus and downtown. The house is definitely a blast from the past, but it served us great for everything we needed. Cheryl was very easy to contact and responsive. Would stay again
Our host couldn't have been more welcoming. My entire family loved the house. We were able to visit comfortably and felt very blessed to have such a beautiful home for our reunion.
The property was as described with ample room for our group of 12. We enjoyed being close to attractions like the aquarium. We also popped out to Andy's to try frozen custard which did not disappoint. We are glad we chose this house. The road is very busy so you need to make sure you've got an eye on the children but that was ok. The host responded quickly to our queries and the beds were lovely and comfy!
Cheryl was a great host. Communication was easy and the process was painless. The house was great: historic, clean and large. We were able to host several family members for my sons wedding as well as a non-traditional rehearsal dinner. Would rent again without hesitation.
Daughter was getting married. We live in the area. This house was just closer to the venue. Was perfect actually. Beautiful historic home. Decor fit the home.
Our group went to Springfield for an audio video student contest and we loved the vibe of the house. It is full of antiques and was perfect for filming our inside scenes for our short film. We had room for everyone. The host is very responsive and easy to contact.
The only drawback was the very small kitchen and no pantry space. We cooked dinners and breakfast everyday and this was a challenge.
We rented this house for our daughters wedding. The house couldn’t have been more perfect. All of our kids families where able to stay together and enjoy the weekend. The accommodations where great, and very clean. Would recommend it if you have a big family!
Lovely home, centrally located to everything we needed, my niece was getting married and it allowed us to stay and spend time together. Plenty of room, clean, everything we needed.
Easy check in. Clear instructions. Everything was provided. The beds are comfortable. The place was clean and looked well attended. Everyone was comfortable. The house was super cute!!! We will return...
