Rainbow’s End is a beautiful Vacation Home located on Russell Island, sitting on over 3 acres of tranquil, landscaped gardens and offering breathtaking panoramic views of Spanish Wells, the surrounding islands and the spectacular blue sea. The property stretches from the harbor on one side to the Caribbean Sea on the other.
From this elevated home you can enjoy incredible sunrise and sunsets, and stargaze right from the comfort of your own private balcony. Everything is a short golf cart ride away.
The home includes an open floor plan with a large covered balcony, ensuite bathrooms, central AC, rain water, washing machine & dryer and two single person Kayaks.
Spanish Wells is a quaint fishing village with a lot to offer, including shopping, a variety of restaurants, food stores, clinics, churches and bakeries. Enjoy boat excursions, swimming with the pigs, fishing, scuba diving, snorkeling, sightseeing and day trips to Harbour Island and Eleuthera.
The island is easily accessible by the Bahamas Ferries from Nassau or daily flights into North Eleuthera’s International airport.

Amazing property!

Had a lovely few days at Rainbow’s End and enjoyed the property so much. So many fruit trees, porch is lovely, felt very secluded and private. Had a great stay and hope to come back!

Great property

Very nice secluded spot. The property was beautiful full of fruit trees and palms. The grounds were well maintained. We had privacy but could be anywhere in just a few minutes on a cart. We hope to get back soon.

Great Space

For someone who leans towards claustrophobia this rental shines! The 3 acres, wrap around veranda, high ceilings and loads of windows, makes this a winner in my book.

Rainbow’s End

A beautiful property, complete with WW2 cannons on site, a working sun dial and a compass on one of the verandas. The sunsets from the bedroom veranda were amazing. At night when it was clear outside I’ve never seen so many stars. We really enjoyed our stay. Every morning there were 8-12 sail boats anchored off the house. Just a great place to stay.

Just what we were looking for

This property is amazing. So many palm, mango and other trees spread out on over 3 acres. Breathtaking views on the veranda with a tropical breeze to keep you comfortable. A short walk to the waters edge. So beautiful we will be back for sure. Communication and hospitality 5 stars

Unique private property

We loved staying at this location. The house has spectacular views. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch watching all the boats come and go. The birds were singing and the yard and trees are beautiful. A short walk to the water. We kayaked. The local caretakers were so helpful. Great experience.

Beauty at the end of the rainbow

This was our second stay at beautiful Rainbows End. We loved the home and the surrounding area just as much as the first time! The home is spacious, perfect for two couples, with glorious views. The covered porch is where you’ll want to spend most of your time, when you’re not out and about. The water views from there are postcard perfect! Beautiful Rainbows End

Wow! Thank you Caroline and Charlotte for opening your family’s home to us. Amazing! Beautiful stay at this older well maintained property! We spent a week here (not nearly long enough!), and enjoyed every moment! From the stunning views from the covered porch (spent 75% of our time there), to the beautifully well kept 3 acres of beautiful trees, flowers and shrubs. Loved the walkway down to the water! Enjoyed beautiful sunrise and sunsets! Mitchell the caretaker was very helpful and responsive when we had questions. All in all a wonderful week! Thank you!

What’s not to love?

The house was glorious, a patio off every room, and ocean view with boats all Day. The beaches were all different, rocky, sandy, never too chilly to walk day or night, just took light wind jacket in case it sprinkled. It did rain for 2 days but we would take the golf cart into town, get something to cook or eat at numerous local restaurants that were great! Tiny conch huts were great for conch salads! The Bahamians were very pleasant, fun, helpful wherever we went. Did a deep sea fishing day with a wonderful Bahama local and caught 2 wahoo and a black fin tuna!! Did the Preachers Cave and some shopping at cute stores. Just relaxing for 8 days, amazing. We’ll be back!

Good property needs some tlc

Property was as described: beautiful lot, spacious outdoor area, great water views. Very efficient property management who responded quickly when we contacted them. House could use some TLC. Drywall cracked, water pump turned off when water is frequently used ( 2 showers). Broken ceiling fan. Tiny showers in bathrooms. Would be gray to have a dock with ladder to access the water for swimming. It’s very rough and rocky by the beach.

In the pictures of property, they show 3 beaches 1rock and 2 sandy. There was only the 1 rocky beach. The others were not far, but still haft to travel to them! We a checked in and found an empty container drinking water! When I called management, the didn’t return my call. Then I texted her hours later , she texted me back on where I could go get water myself! I am a VRBO owner and I would never allow someone to check in without basic necessities!

What a Wonderful Month at Rainbows End

We have rented homes for the past 15 years in the Caribbean. This was our first vacation to the Bahamas and we loved staying for a month at Rainbows End. It is true, every time it rained after 3 pm we saw a rainbow! The home is lovely! The kitchen was the most appointed kitchen we have every had in a rental. We enjoy cooking and they had all the pans, utensils, and dishes needed to enjoy meals at home. The master bedroom is large and very comfortable. I like nice towels and this home has very nice towels for their guests. We spent hours each day relaxing on the covered porch and watching all the different types boats travel by. I brought a hammock with me and tied it up between 2 trees on the property near the walkway to the waterfront. I really enjoyed reading in the hammock! The 3 acres of land is beautiful with lime trees full of limes while we were there. We rented a golf cart for the time we were there and went to the beach every day. It was only a 10 min ride to one of the most beautiful beaches we have ever seen. We rented a boat one day and went to egg island and snorkeled. We ate out the restaurants on the island and the "Sand Bar"on Russell Island was our favorite. The caretaker "Mitch" met us at the Ferry and took us to the house. He is wonderful to work with and he also took as back to the Ferry on our return trip! We loved our stay at Rainbows End! Thank you Caroline for giving us the opportunity to share your home and visit Spanish Wells and Russell Island.

Rainbows end dream

This is an amazing piece of property and a very beautiful home. House itself has a great design, easy to enjoy.The large outdoor porches were my favorite part. Perfect to watch the sunrise and set over the sail boats. We did feel like we had a mini resort to ourselves. Mitchell meet us at dock to show us house and bring luggage. Gave us some great tips along the way. We will definitely rent here again.

Quiet oasis, incredible vistas

We travelled to Russell Island/Spanish Wells for a family wedding and stayed at Rainbows End. The property is as depicted in the advertised photos. But, what those pictures don't convey is that the home is located at the top of a hill on a huge acreage with a sprawling lawn, lush trees, flowers, and is uniquely adorned with a few old cannons and a sundial - all very cool! The ceiling in main living area is about 25' high, which is beautiful. The outdoor deck has the most amazing views and is the perfect place to have morning coffee! I'm pretty sure that no one else on the island has this view - incredible! The primary bedroom is massive with a small private deck. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. It is a quiet, private, and a spacious place, located at the most easterly tip of Russell Island. Although the shoreline is rocky, there are stairs leading into the water and we did swim and snorkel there one day - bring water shoes. This home is just minutes (by golf cart) to stunning white sand beaches/sand bar. We spent a lot of time traveling, by rented golf cart, to meet up with family who where staying at the the other end of the island and on Spanish Wells. The caretaker was very helpful, friendly, and a wealth of local knowledge and history. We rented our golf cart from him and he arranged for us to get some large jugs of water as well, which you will need no matter where you stay on the island. Our host Caroline was also very responsive to our messages through Vrbo. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider re-booking if we get the chance to go back! Big thanks to our hosts!

Perfect Getaway
