Built in 1907, situated right in the heart of Venice, 1 block from coffee shops, restaurants and shopping galore of famous Abbot Kinney Blvd. Walk, bike, surf, skate and live like a local! Great place, Great location, Great Host

This was one of the best places we have ever stayed. The house was fantastic, clean, maintained, and great location. Everything we needed for an extended stay was there, no running to the store for every little thing. We were able to cook and stay just like we would at home. The location is fantastic and the host was a pleasure to work with. Highest recommendation - Thank You.

Rare Find

Our family had a wonderful stay at this property. It is truly a rare find. We stayed for 2 weeks and it was the perfect space to relax, work remote, and visit Venice. Just steps away from Abbot Kinney, it is convenient to stores and restaurants and just a short trip by car to Whole Foods when we needed to restock. The kitchen is supplied with everything needed for small and large meals. The layout on the first floor is honestly perfect for a family and meals are easily prepared and served either inside or out. The front and back yards are lush and well kept – the two yards offer hours and hours of discovery for kids. The bedrooms and bathrooms are all spacious and comfortable. We have stayed in many properties (domestic and international) and this house has made it into the small group of those we hope to rent again. The property manager and owner have thoughtfully curated this home for renters. It is absolutely a home away from home.

Beautifully Eclectic Bungalow Within Venice

My roommates and I stayed here for three months for work and absolutely loved the place. The backyard is stunning and your own oasis from the hustle and bustle of the city. The house itself is truly a treasure. The location of this house is also incredible since you are so close to everything. Abbot Kinney is steps away so you can get food or shop for anything. My roommates and I would stop at Salt & Straw on our way to the beach (15 minute easy walk) every weekend. The streets felt safe to stroll down and there is street parking everywhere (yes, it is busy but there is always a spot open not too far away). If you want a place that has it's quirks and feels at home, then you are in the right place. I felt at home here and loved the art work around the house. The property manager is very quick in responding when we had issues and very nice to interact with. The cleaning lady is also a joy to talk to! All in all, great relaxing place after a long day of work. I would definitely recommend staying here! Thanks for having us!

Not only a rare expansive garden at the rear and a lovely front porch with porch swing, filled with plants, outdoor dining table seating 8 people with heater for chilly evenings, BBQ Grill and outdoor shower, for washing off beach sand.

The first floor's open plan provides a charming fully equipped kitchen, bar stool seating for morning coffee, spacious living and dining area with skylights.
Second story offers three bedrooms (1 with built-in desk work area) and 2 full bathrooms with shower and bath tub.

Central heating included ( A/C provided by ocean breezes).
