It began years ago as a simple, rustic family fishing cabin - a place to get away and just a short drive from Broken Bow Lake. But then time and nature and neglect began to take its toll and this little gem almost disappeared for good. Thankfully that little cabin was rediscovered and rescued, reworked and reborn. The brush was cut away and on the bones of that simple, rustic little fishing cabin now sits what is still a little family getaway, just not quite as simple, and not nearly as rustic.
Welcome to Angler`s Dream!
Vision and Dreams have turned this into a welcoming family cabin. Designed to bring people together and built to create memories that are filled with long evenings on the deck, laughter around a campfire, and stories of the one that got away. The large wrap around deck is ideal for good food and good friends. Multiple seating areas, covered and open decks, a built in bar for serving drinks or lunch; all make this the perfect place to plan your escape to for summer and winter trips. Add in the large fire pit just off deck and everyone will have a great time.
Inside Angler`s Dream you can still feel the character of the old fishing cabin but with all the modern amenities that make getting away a breeze. A ready to cook kitchen complete with cookware and dinnerware. TV, free WiFi, Washer/ Dryer, and of course central heat and AC! Angler`s Dream is set up to sleep 7 guests with a king bed master suite, a queen bed guest, and a twin over full bunk room. There is additional space for 2 more guests in the loft on the fold out futon. Kids will love taking the ships ladder staircase to the loft where they will have a TV for streaming shows and a place to call their own. There is also a covered balcony overlooking the back deck and wooded lot.
The cabin is conveniently located in the Hochatown community within minutes of most shopping, dining and other activities. The perfect spot to launch adventures to Beaver`s Bend State Park, horseback riding, kayaking the Mt Fork River, foliage tours and Big Foot hunts.
Don`t think that Angler`s Dream has forgotten its original fishing cabin roots though. Still just a short drive to Broken Bow Lake, the cabin has easy access driveway with plenty of parking for cars and trailers. Out back is a fish cleaning station near the outdoor grill.

It was a really a beautiful house, but my only complaint is that the living room downstairs can really only seat 3 people. The host were amazing; we got iced in and had to stay an extra 3 days and they were very accommodating. There are various activities on the property but due to the ice storm we were unable to use them.
The location of the cabin is great. The beds were very comfortable. Everything that was needed was there.

Definitely would come again very nice and clean no complaints here!! Only thing that could have been better would have been a bigger living room where everyone could sit
Our family had a great time staying at this cozy and clean cabin. Each one of us found something different that we liked about it. Would return again someday. Thank you!
My family and I really enjoyed our stay in the cabin. The cabin was just as listed. The location was perfect and provided ease of access to surrounding activities. Would definitely plan more at this same cabin in the future.
This was our first experience renting a cabin. We enjoyed it very much. Our grandchildren loved the loft area. The queen bed next to the wall was an uncomfortable situation. Otherwise the cabin was wonderful.
We really enjoyed our stay. It took some getting use to on the stairs but was fine. We had a great camp fire and everything worked well. It was comfortable and cozy. The internet went in and out but that is not the real reason we were there. It was over all a great stay
We had a good time, weather was perfect and leaves were changing. I only gave it 3 stars because it would have been nice to have a fenced area for pets or a dog run....something were they could be outside enjoying the weather as well. The matress on the king size bed was very lumpy and not very good support.
We enjoyed sitting out back with the deers. They visited often! So awesome! The accommodations were nice except for the mattress in the master bedroom. We didn’t sleep good at all during our stay. Very lumpy, uneven mattress that slopes on both sides so you feel like your falling off the bed.
We really enjoyed our weekend in this cabin. It was small but clean and did sleep nine people. We were under a burn ban even though it rained on and off so accommodating nine people inside around the tv was really tight. It did have another tv in the loft upstairs but that was used for a bedroom so we didn’t really go up there much. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. There were plenty of party lights outside with corn hole boards and horse shoes to keep us entertained during intermittent dry spells. A dart board too, but we couldn’t find the darts, lol. Many other games inside as well. There were also covered porches we could sit under. I definitely recommend this cabin, the property management did a great job accommodating us.
Just a note that the wi-fi is only accessible in the cabin. You cannot connect in the outdoor areas from the time you walk out into any of the porches or decks or beyond to the fire pit area. Since there is not great service for most cellular phones that was a big let down.
Utensils- when the listing states utensils provided it was difficult to do a complete family dinner when there are very very few cooking utensils and cutting knives. There may have been more at one time but when we arrived there were very very few so we had to go purchase mixing and serving spoons and the knife there for cutting was not at all useful so that had to be purchased.

The Eclipse was great.
We enjoyed the place and the weekend once we were checked in everything was perfect. There were plenty of linens and the shower in the master bedroom was great.
The backyard with the firepit was the best. It was very private and quiet in spite of the hundreds of thousands of people who came to see the eclipse. There is Wifi in the cabin only.
Communication with the property managers was stressful. I knew the cell service was spotty and I attempted to contact the managers at 10 that morning. They have three numbers and an email. After no success I called the Vrbo help desk at 11 the morning of check in. They had no luck contacting anyone either. Our son was the first to arrive-he called the number on the promotion sign, and they gave him the code to unlock the door. I received an email after I arrived at the property that simply said they had emailed me the code on Wednesday and Saturday morning. My spam folder had 3 emails from them in the week before checking in. However, they were not available by phone to us or Vrbo.
There is plenty of beds for 6 people. Outside has a porch and plenty of seating for more than (6) people. The location is perfect. The only thing that was less than stellar was the kitchen, dining room, and living room is tiny. The internet is spotty which causes the tv to stop working. Tv is not usually important to me, but we were trying to watch a football game and it was maddening.
