At the foot of the Albères massif, where the Pyrenees plunge into the sea, the village of Argelès-sur-Mer happily combines art of living, green tourism and seaside pleasures.
A vast sandy beach of 7 km, clear waters and the Albères massif which dominates the beach. On the seafront, a pine forest and a 3 km tree-lined promenade for strolling.
To the south, towards Collioure, you will find this corner of paradise that is “Racou”, a confined hamlet, a former fishing village.
Without forgetting its village where lovers of historical heritage will admire the numerous religious buildings such as the Notre-Dame del Prat church.
