You have the entire lower level of my mountain chalet which stays cool and comfortable with garage space for security and convenience. (I live upstairs) A large deck with fire pit table and views of the red cliffs appear at your finger tips. A serene spot surrounded by nature, you can relax and savor the moment. However, that being said, be aware this is a dog friendly space and with abundant wildlife around, my dogs sometimes do bark. If you find this objectionable, this may not be the perfect spot for you. On the otherhand, dogs are welcome to visit with their people.

I look forward to your return, Rebecca. I think we are soulmates.
"Our stay at the mountain VRBO was absolutely unforgettable. Nestled among towering pines and overlooking breathtaking views, the space offered the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. Waking up to crisp mountain air and sipping coffee in the cool mountain is amazing. The home was spotless, well-stocked, and cozy—ideal for relaxing after a day of hiking and exploring. Great Place, the host was attentive and friendly. We recommend all to have a stay

Thank you for those kind words. You were such nice guests. Please come back and stay longer!
We enjoyed Betsy's hospitality and appreciated her checking us in and showing us her basement apartment. It is larger than the photos show, and we were happy we could park in her garage with easy access. Had breakfast and evening drinks on the upstairs patio looking at the wonderful mountain view.
Stayed here for a ski trip to Aspen! We were only an hour-ish from the resorts. One of our friends rolled his ankle and Betsy went above and beyond to make sure he was okay. Overall wonderful!

I hope the ankle is all good now and you all will return for another go at the slopes!
Thank you for being wonderful guests!
Great place. As described. Betsy was an awesome host. Beautiful deck overlooking mountains and crystal river valley. Driveway is steep and would recommend a vehicle with a bit of extra clearance.

I enjoyed both you and Sue so much! Please come back soon!
Very nice place to stay and the host was wonderful and responsive. Not a full kitchen but had everything we needed and a grill on the upper deck which provided wonderful views. Would stay again if in the area.

I would say it would be helpful to have all wheel drive or four-wheel-drive in winter but a truck definitely isn’t required. The road is an unpaved road up on the side of a mountain. It isn’t perfectly smooth but in summer any vehicle should be okay.
