Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
If the grill was used, please remove the BBQ grill cover so we can clean it. Make sure the gas is turned OFF. Please pick up any pet waste. Leave a note if repairs are needed.
Throw a load of laundry in. BEFORE YOU DO, PLEASE SHAKE OUT ALL SANDY TOWELS outside on the street. The sand clogs the washer and dryer! Sweep the patio if SAND is on the ground.
Double check your personal items. Feel free to call me if you left something. Thank you for your stay!

What a great place! We decided to not eat out, instead we cooked and got takeout so we could enjoy the view’s & amazing sunset. Everything was smooth & easy no problems or issues.

Pacific Paradise

Property even more beautiful than pictures. On a cliff overlooking the beach. Cool, soft ocean breezes every single day. Dolphins cruise by daily. The home is furnished with anything you would want or need. Very close to downtown Encinitas with great places to eat. Beaches are amazing. The host was very pleasant and accommadating. Best time ever!

Wonderful!

This is a wonderful property that is exactly as described. The sounds of the ocean were what we wanted, and this what this superb place provided. The setting is safe, friendly and easily accessed. Brooke thoughtfully created a welcoming unit. We enjoyed the edible treats, as well as the bottle of Sparkling Cider. We loved watching the surfers, dolphins, and memorable sunsets from the deck. We plan to return!

The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s so nice. I’d return in a heart beat. The neighborhood is wonderful, friendly and no night noise except the ocean sounds. Everything we needed and more was provided. Our dogs loved it except the stairs. They were new to stairs and going down them was a challenge for my doodle. I think a picture of the stairs would be helpful to anyone. Not as deterrent but just fyi. Again fabulous place.

What the Doctor Ordered!!

Was in need of a respite that included ocean breezes and the sound of the waves. This rental fit the bill and more! Large patio for lounging and soaking in the scent and sounds of the Pacific. Ocean views from the living room and well appointed kitchen. What more could you ask for?!! Very clean and comfortable. Brooke was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had.

Amazing beach house

What a gorgeous house! The views of the ocean and the proximity to the beach are absolutely breathtaking. The house is will stocked with nice linens and towels including beach towels, plus toiletries and some kitchen essentials which are super helpful for international touring travellers like us. Oh and the cupboard of beach toys and chairs etc is such a great idea - we did a lot of bodyboarding! Also lots of fans and aircon and bug screens which helped us to stay cool. Encinitas is a gorgeous little town to stay in with lovely shops and restaurants all within walking distance and Neptune is a super safe and pretty neighbourhood. Brooke was super communicative and welcoming throughout and I can’t recommend highly enough as a host and a house. We already miss it!!

Just perfect!

Thank You Brook for sharing your lovely home with us. I got a little nervous right before coming because I didn’t notice it was pet friendly and my husband has allergies. There were no problems because the house is cleaned so well. The floors are tiled and the master bed is too high for most dogs to jump on. You will love the view and 1 min walk to corner beach access (watch the surfers). The location is a 15 min walk to good restaurants, acupuncturist and farmers market on Sunday. Also, parking right out front! FYI- note that the bathroom is through the kitchen which is not private with one bedroom but accessible to all. We were here 10 days and would love to return.

Surprise 60th Birthday Celebration

Fabulous weekend with family and friends to celebrate hubby's 60th birthday. Brooke was a great host, and her place was perfect for our crew. We ordered catering from Taco Stand, and Ice Cream Cakes with funny photos printed on top from Cali Cream in Encinitas for a super easy feast. Thanks to all for the local hospitality!
