My wife and I stayed here for 12 nights in July/August 2026. Domme is a beautiful village with many amenities and restaurants and is a perfect base from which to explore the Dordogne. The property is located in quiet narrow street. We had a reasonably small hatchback car which we were able to park right outside the property although to allow other traffic through it needed to be parked as close as possible to the front wall. Not a problem at all but worth being aware of!The gite itself was immaculate and had everything we needed for a very relaxed (part self catered) stay. The kitchen is well equipped, there is ample dining space and areas to relax as well as two decent bedrooms with comfortable beds. There is a good sized bathroom and a decent shower.Outside there are different terracing options for eating/relaxing and of course the swimming pool which is a reasonable size. Most of our communication was through the property management company but that was all very smooth. Next door and on hand if anything was needed was Stefan who was very friendly and helpful and who also maintained the pool during our stay. All in all we had a wonderful stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend. I should add that we were there during a period of pretty exceptionally hot weather. The property does not have air conditioning (although there are fans in the bedrooms) and it did get pretty hot inside! Thankfully the pool was great for cooling off!
