Cabin was great for our family of four and grandparent. Spacious suite on lower level and two great bedrooms upstairs for the family. Just the perfect distance away from the hustle of the surrounding cities, but reasonably close as well. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed this cabin. The view was beautiful, the cabin was quaint and perfect for our group. The hosts were very attentive and responsive. Definitely made our Christmas vacation special.
What a great place to stay i would go back in a second it was close to everything the bear came by to vist the view from the back where the fire pit was vary nice 10 out of 10 and thank you again we will be back
Very beautiful cabin. We loved our stay here, the property managers were accommodating and helpful. We loved the hot tub and the mountain views. Great place to stay.
My family and I had a great few days! We saw a bear, fire flys, and enjoyed a very relaxing few days in the mountains! The cabin was wonderful, clean, and just what we were hoping for for our vacation!
Myself, husband, 2 sons and one of their girlfriends came here to relax and enjoy nature. The home is gorgeous. The view is so nice. We didnt get to see bear, but the stay was great.. Highly recommended.
Gatlinburg is like my second home. Property was conveniently situated minutes from downtown if you want to hit the strip or close to grocery and my favorite steak place the Alamo. Perfect size for a family and easy enough to split the layout if you shared with others. I’ve read several of the other reviews before I booked. Biggest complaint seemed to be the steepness of the area. If you think it is steep, it really isn’t. Our minivan never had an issue driving back and forth. You have a very few neighbors but everyone was very friendly and considerate. All the noise (and it really wasn’t a bother) came from a Rooster somewhere down the hill. Still had some excellent Mountain View’s for being so close to town. One morning we had a black bear walk by while we were on the patio. We simply went inside before it got too close and finished taking pictures from the large kitchen/dining area window. If you are a fan of AC for the summer. This one is zoned top and bottom and had no problem cooling down. Thinking about rebooking this one again this fall. Great stay.
We absolutely loved staying here!! We loved the hot tub, the rooms all had TVs in them and were spacious. We had everything we needed and it was so cozy and relaxing. We will definitely be back! Thank you for sharing your place with us!
The size of the house fit our family very well. The location of our house was pretty central to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Overall, we would be happy to stay at this rental again in the future.
We had a great stay at Bear Crossing.
Clean, comfortable and close to SMNP.
Plenty of room for my husband and I and three adult nephew and nieces.
After hiking each day it was wonderful to come back and relax. Close to town but a very quiet neighborhood.
We stayed three nights while visiting the Smokey Mountain National Park and surrounding areas. Our cabin was clean, conveniently located to a variety of activities and our host responded quickly to any questions I had. We had a great experience at the cabin and would definitely stay again if we came back to the area.
We have stayed in many many cabins over the years and this cabin was my favorite by far.
The cabin was clean and the bedding was comfortable. We found the location to be very convenient. Highly recommend.
we had 3 adults and 3 kids stay here, and we had plenty of space and an amazing view. It's like 10 - 20 minutes from all the entertainment in town - easy drive to dollywood or the island.
comfy beds and comfy couches. hot tub was awesome and everything was very clean.

We started coming to Gatlinburg in 2012, we got married there in 2014. We purchased our first cabin in 2016 and it burned down in the fires only 2 months after we purchased. We rebuilt the cabin in 2017. We recently built cabin number 2 and have number 3 in the works. We hope you enjoy Gatlinburg as much as we do.
Why they chose this property
This property is located inside the city limits. Its not high up so you don't have the winding roads but you still get a view. Downtown is only 5 min and Piegon Forge is only 15 min away.
What makes this property unique
The cabin has two front porch poles that were salvaged from a amish barn in Jenera Ohio dated 1890. The mantel was salvaged from a farm house dated early 1900s. All the logs and beam are true hand hewn logs. The kitchen table and coffee table are made from left over logs that were used to build the cabin. We hope you enjoy your stay in a true Hand Hewn log cabin.
