We loved our experience at this cozy cabin! It is stocked with everything you could need. The outdoor shower was a fun bonus experience and we loved the fire-pit as well. Bed was comfortable. Would love to stay here again.
This is the cutest little house! It was everything we needed! The host was superb, welcoming and communicated very well with us. The tiny home was very clean, accommodating and private as it was nestled down the hill. I would definitely recommend this place! We would absolutely book this again!
Great place for a weekend away. Never stayed in a tiny house before but this had plenty of room for our family of four, including two teenagers. Clean, quiet, and had all we needed. Tracy is a great host!
My husband, son, and I had a great stay at The Hideaway. Everything was clean, easy access to town, and loved having the fire pit! Tracy was a great host and we would definitely stay again.

Perfect for 2 to 3 adults. The host is friendly and informative.
We enjoyed staying at this charming, comfortable little cabin. It was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. My son loved the outside shower and the soaking tub was so relaxing. The newly built pergola (the owner and his son built it) was lovely for my morning coffee. This property has all the amenities you will need and more. The host, Tracy, is lovely as well. I will be staying here again!
This was our second stay at this property and we were thoroughly happy once again. Since our first stay in September, the owners have installed a fireplace and built a beautiful wooden mantle around it. It was warm and cozy during some very cold evenings. I even used the full kitchen to cook a thanksgiving dinner! This is my go to property every time I visit my son at GMC.
Loved this tiny cabin. Great use of space. Felt like we had plenty of room. My boys loved the hammock in the shade. The candy and popcorn was a nice surprise too. We will definitely be back in we are in the area.
The place was awesome and the host was super nice and helpful. Tracy knew we were getting in late and had drinks and snacks laid out as well as firewood in case we needed it. I would highly recommend this place.
Such a unique experience! We loved the natural wood, outdoor shower, comfortable beds and soaker tub! Kitchen was great. Fun for kids. Wonderful host. Great for our family of 3!
We visited our daughter at GCSU and this little cabin was great. She visited us and slept in the loft. The cabin is adorable, convenient, and the firepit is great! The host was amazing and very responsive. Highly recommend.
Location was perfect for our UGA game day weekend. Outdoor shower was blissful and we all loved it. Parking is tight and the driveway coming in is narrow. If you have anything larger than a F150 you might want to notify owners to find an alternate spot. All in all it was a wonderful weekend spent there.
The property was immaculate. Everything was provided that was needed - truly a home away from home nestled in the woods. Owner was quick to respond to messages and very accommodating. Would HIGHLY recommend and will definitely visit again.
This property is very inviting! Listing is accurate. Owners are great! Very timely and fast response. We always enjoy our stay at The Treehouse and The Hideaway!
Hosts are above and beyond excellent! It was a great spot for two and wish we had booked more than 2 nights. Very cozy, extremely clean, beautiful location.
We absolutely loved staying in this brand new cabin in milledgeville! It was immaculate! It’s a perfect size for a weekend getaway! The soaker tub is amazing! There’s a fire pit outside along with a swing & hammock! The owners were so sweet to leave us a snack when we arrived and a Christmas tree with lights on greeted us upon arrival! Don’t hesitate at all to book this cute cabin!! I’m sure you will love it as much as we did!

About the host
Hosted by Tracy Simmons
Welcome to our little slice of paradise! My husband Jeff and I created this cozy retreat for one simple reason: we love to host. Growing up as an Army brat, I learned firsthand the importance of a welcoming home, no matter where you are. Now, as seasoned travelers and parents ourselves, we enjoy sharing our home with people from all over the world. Our guests come for all kinds of reasons—romantic getaways, business trips, or to visit students at one of the local colleges (Go GCSU!). Whatever brings you here, we're thrilled to be a small part of your story.
Why they chose this property
We fell in love with this location because it feels like a peaceful retreat, yet it keeps you connected to everything Milledgeville has to offer. It's a place where you can relax and listen to the birds, but also be downtown in a matter of minutes. Whether you're coming for a relaxing getaway or a fun-filled day at Lake Sinclair, our home's location makes it easy to experience the best of both worlds.
What makes this property unique
Step into a space that feels worlds away. We're told our property has the cozy, secluded feel of a mountain retreat, even though we're so close to town. It’s the kind of place where you can sip your coffee in peace, unwind in nature, and still be just a short drive from all the local spots you want to visit. This unique combination of tranquility and convenience is what makes our tiny house so special.
