Peaceful home.

We celebrated my birthday here with the love of my life and our two pets, and we couldn’t have picked a better place! ❤️ The house is beautiful, and the view early in the morning is absolutely amazing. The cabin is also conveniently located close to almost everything—downtown, public parks, grocery stores, and more. We especially loved the peacefulness of this little town. There’s hardly any traffic, which was such a nice change for us coming from Orlando, where it’s always crowded and loud. It was exactly the quiet getaway we needed. Debbie, our host, was so kind and welcoming. Thank you so much for keeping the cabin well-stocked with supplies and making our stay so comfortable. We honestly didn’t want to go home! 😂 We will definitely be coming back, and we’d love to stay here again with our friends and family when we need a peaceful place to escape. We had the best time at Bear-Foot Hideaway! From the moment the cabin was booked, we received customer service excellence and clear and helpful communication from the owner/manager. The cabin was so clean and each space and room was cozy, charming, and well stocked. We thoroughly enjoyed having the gas logs, games, pool table, hot tub, fire pit, and there was even a scavenger hunt on the property that just added so much fun! This place truly has it all and is perfect for families. We can’t wait to come back!

We had a great time at this extremely well maintained cabin! Super clean. Tons of space and comfy beds. Views, hot tub and yard/parking were all perfect! Easy drive and close to everything too. Master is upstairs so be easy on the fireplace because all of the heat goes up there. Downstairs was the perfect area for hanging out with lots of games, big tv, pool table, bar, mini fridge, etc!

Wonderful place to stay in the mountains

Upon arrival we were very impressed with this cabin located in the mountains. It was very clean and inviting. Fully stocked with all our needs for our stay. Plenty of room for 10 people to stay in comfort. We highly recommend staying here with your family or a group of friends.

Relaxing Weekend Away

My family very much enjoyed our long weekend at Bearfoot Hideaway. We booked last minute, and the property manager was very responsive and provided great service. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. It had all of the amenity we needed for a quiet and family friendly stay. We also really enjoyed the scavenger hunt- such a fun way to explore the property!

The cabin was well stocked, roomy and had everything you need to enjoy family time. The pool table & karaoke machine were big hits. Great indoor & outdoor spaces. We will definitely consider this place on future travels.

Absolutely beautiful and serene cabin!

This property was even better than we could have imagined!!! The cabin was so clean, the beds were super comfy, the amenities were great! There was so much to do in the nearby town of Blue Ridge but we also loved coming back and spending time at the Hideaway. We came with our 3 kids and they loved it! Everything was only 10 minutes away but the house was so peaceful. Thanks so much for a great trip!!!

Quiet mountain getaway

What a great place this is!! The location is great close enough to everything but super quiet, only a couple of other cabins. The cabin is clean and well appointed with plenty of games and things to do. Great stay!! One word of caution, the cabin is on a steep hill, if you go in winter it get icy and slippery.

Everything was perfect

The cabin was delightful! Equipped with everything you could want in the kitchen. Three full bathrooms and lots of comfortable beds. Quite isolated and private, which we loved. our hostess thought of everything, even a notebook including all pertinent information. Particularly delightful was the fire ring in the backyard, completely surrounded by comfy chairs.

Wonderful Stay!

We spent the weekend in Blue Ridge with family friends. We had such a nice stay. The cabin was just perfect for everyone. It was so clean and Debbie truly thought of everything. Communication was prompt and helpful. We are really looking forward to our next stay!
