Why rent a hotel room when you can enjoy your stay in the comfort of a private home with a screened-in pool on a deep water canal with direct Gulf access (no bridges)? This cozy, beachy, cottage style home has four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Enjoy beautiful views overlooking the pool and canal from oversized, fifteen foot wide, sliding glass doors in the living room. This home also features a large twelve foot by twenty-four foot lanai for relaxing alongside the pool and overlooking the canal. There are pool toys and floats for a little fun. The large master bedroom has a private bathroom with a shower. The other three bedrooms share the hallway bathroom that has a tub/shower combination. The second bedroom features a queen bed, while the third bedroom features a twin daybed with a twin trundle underneath. The fourth bedroom has a queen bed and a desk with chair. This home has a laundry room and high-speed WiFi for your convenience as well. You can see a variety of sea life in the canal including manatees and dolphins almost every single day. Get your Florida fishing license and have fun catching a variety of fish right in the back yard. There are catfish, redfish, Jack Crevalle, snook, stingray, blue crab and more. Just grab a bucket of shrimp and pinfish/pilchardrs and you will be all set to catch a bunch of fish. Bring your own boat and tie it up along the seawall. Take your boat out for stunning sunset cruises, dolphin cruises or go fishing inshore or offshore for some of Florida's greatest fishing.

Enjoyable stay at Lochmoor Waterway Estates

My spouse and I, along with two other family members spent an enjoyable stay at this vacation home in North Forth Myers. We appreciated the calm and tranquility of the neighbourhood, and what a bonus to be located on a canal! We enjoyed having our cup of coffee in the morning on the dock and having a little fun dipping a line in the water (We had our own fishing gear. For serious fishing, however, better to go out in the bay or deep-sea fishing. Pine Island is the place to go and it’s only half an hour drive from the house!). Access to grocery supermarkets, pharmacies and other retail points is quick and easy, don't have to go through the inconvenience of big urban traffic. The home has a lovely (and newly renovated) private swimming pool with a lanai and covered patio which we enjoyed very much. The decor of the home is stuck in the 1990s and would need some updating, and the exterior could need some improvement to make the curb appeal a bit more exciting but this does not in any way lessen the fact that the house is clean, comfortable and contains all the essential supplies needed. Not a five-star experience but good value for the money. The owner is a very nice person, very cooperative and very diligent to respond to enquiries and requests.
